We’re not going to sugar coat it: things in Disney World are BUSY.
Of course, that’s to be expected. The Spring Break travel season is huge and always brings a lot of people to the Orlando area, with many of those folks headed to Disney World. We’ve seen pretty high wait times over the past week, and those high wait times are continuing. That’s why we have a recommendation for those visiting Disney World right now: get Genie+.​
Why are we telling you to spend even MORE money in Disney World? As we mentioned, the crowds are here, and ride wait times are long, with some wait times as long as HOURS. You don’t want to waste all your time standing in those lines, right? Purchasing Genie+ will allow you to skip the long standby lines and let you use the quicker Lightning Lanes. This saves you a lot of time and you’ll be able to get on more rides.
For those rides that offer the Individual Lightning Lane option, if they’re a priority for you, consider purchasing that, too, for the same reason. If time is money, then you’d be saving money by allowing you and your group to do more in the parks than you would without spending that money.

We just got back from Disney during spring break. The Navi River ride said it was a 90 minute wait but it only took us 45 minutes. To be honest, the only place we had any real issues was at Magic Kingdom. If you go later in the evening many of the families with young kids have left the park. We spent most of the morning hours at the pool and then went to the parks later. Hotels and food courts on the Disney property were not crowded as expected.
