The airline industry is always changing, including changes at Orlando International Airport.
Just recently, we saw one low-cost airline stop all its flights completely, including flights to Orlando. We’ve also seen some NEW flights being announced to and from Orlando. Now, one popular airline will soon stop flying to Orlando from one particular city.
According to WGAL, Frontier Airlines will soon no longer offer flights to Orlando from Harrisburg International Airport in Middletown, PA. Frontier is currently shifting some of its route networks, so the airline is making big changes that will end even more flights to Orlando from other airports later this year.
This is probably bad news for those of you who fly to Orlando on Frontier Airlines. However, for those in Harrisburg, there are other airlines that will still be flying to Orlando International Airport. In the meantime, Frontier flights from Harrisburg will officially end on May 13th.
For example, Allegiant currently offers up to six flights a week from Harrisburg to Orlando while other airlines are looking to add more flights to Orlando over the summer. However, if you’ve purchased Frontier’s GoWild! Pass specifically to fly from Harrisburg (or other cities that might eventually be impacted, you might just be out of luck.

Very disappointed that Frontier is pulling out of Harrisburg. Was a great flight..direct…and nice airline. Yes I am very glad I’m not a den member or their wild pass.
