2008 Easter Services

For those celebrating Easter, the Walt Disney World® Resort will host religious services on Sunday, March 23, 2008, in the Fantasia Ballroom of Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

Note that the resort parking lot will be operating under parking restrictions. As a result, Resort Guests around the monorail beam are encouraged to take the monorail or watercraft system to the Contemporary Resort. All other WDW Guests must use Walt Disney World® Resort transportation to the Magic Kingdom® Park and then transfer to a shuttle bus to Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

The service schedule will be: Catholic Mass – 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. Protestant Service – 9:00 a.m.

To arrange for taxi service, contact Yellow/Checker Cab at 407-422-2222.

NOTE: As of Sunday, August 11, 2002,
religious services were discontinued at
the Polynesian Resort's Luau Cove.

Directions: The shrine is located 2 1/2 miles northeast of Lake Buena Vista on the I-4 frontage road. Traveling south on SR 535 from Hotel Plaza Boulevard/Crossroads, drive to second traffic signal, turn left (Vineland Avenue) and continue approximately 1 mile.

Mass is held on: Sunday: 7:30am, 9:30am, 11:30am, and 6pm Saturday: 6pm
A priest hears confession daily. Call (407) 239-6600 for further information.

NOTE: As of Sunday, November 3, 2002, Mears no longer offers shuttle service to the 9:30 a.m. Mass at Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine. Mears Taxicab service is available by calling 407-699-9999.

Epcot -- Muslim Prayer Room and Fountain: There is a designated meditation area located inside the Morocco Museum at Epcot on the World Showcase. Small rugs are available for guest use. The hours are 11am - 9pm daily.
