Wandavision's Agatha Harkness Is Getting a Spin-Off Series On Disney+

We still have some serious feelings about WandaVision, even after the season finale.

And let’s face it — one of the standout performances on that series was Kathryn Hahn as the nosy next-door neighbor named Agnes who turned out to be the show’s main villain, a witchy Marvel baddie by the name of Agatha Harkness. Hahn left such an impression in the role that Agatha is now a character you can see at Disney California Adventure’s Oogie Boogie Bash.

The villain’s popularity is about to continue because according to Variety, Disney+ is in the process of creating a WandaVision spin-off series dedicated to Agatha! The series will bring back Kathryn Hahn in the role for a series that’s currently being described as a “dark comedy.”

In WandaVision, Agatha revealed herself as a centuries-old witch with magical powers that rivaled those of Wanda’s. She was ultimately defeated and then reverted to Agnes, her nosy neighbor persona. There’s no word on whether the new series will pick up after the events of WandaVision or if it will involve a story that takes place before it.

WandaVision‘s head writer, Jac Schaeffer, will write the series, as well as act as its executive producer. Marvel has not yet commented on the show, nor has Disney confirmed it, so when we learn more, we’ll be sure to let you know!
