Some prices listed below show a range. These are the prices of the tickets before and after the yearly price increases. The 1980 through 1988 prices include tax. The 1989 ones do not.

| 1980 was a year of transition for Disney tickets. Disney started selling 8 and 10 ride Adventure Books that had
attraction coupons (tickets) that were good for any attraction in the Magic Kingdom to the general public. Gone were the
individual "A" through "E" attraction tickets. Also discontinued by the end of the year was the 12 ride Adventure Books.
Magic Kingdom Passports that included everything made their debut before the year was out.
Ticket prices went up on March 23, 1980 and General Admission increased a second time on November 23, 1980. |

| This was the year of Walt Disney World's Tencennial. By the end of 1981, the old coupon
books were completely discontinued in favor of the new Passport system for everyone. For the first time,
Disney begins allowing guests with left over old tickets to redeem them for credit towards the purchase of a
new ticket.

codes on the back of all their tickets and began offering Annual Passports for sale. Disney did a major revamping
