It is never a dull day when you get to spend the day in Disney World!
However, you also never know when you might run across some extra excitement happening in the parks. We are always keeping our eyes out, and today we spotted something exciting happening in Magic Kingdom.
This is for all the American Idol fans! While in Magic Kingdom today, we found something special happening. One of our reporters spotted filming happening for American Idol ahead of the Disney Night episode which will air on May 12th, 2024, on ABC.
We spotted some of the crew walking around with American Idol laminates and we captured a couple of photographs of them setting up. While we didn’t spot any American Idol cast members, it is still lots of fun to see special events happening in Disney World.
This comes after the show’s social media accounts posted a video of the cast saying “We just made the top five, and we’re going to Disney World!”

We are looking forward to watching the episode when it airs on May 12th, 2024. You never know what you may spot while you are in Disney World, and it was so cool to see a bit of the behind-the-scenes of American Idol.
