Laura Gilbreath attended the Taste event
of Disney's California Food and Wine Festival,
and returns with these photos.

The entrance to Taste, which was
held inside Studio 17 in the Hollywood
Pictures Backlot.

Check-in.

The room was decorated with lights and shaped projection panels.

Each table had a sign identifying what was available there.

Decorative banners on the walls made it easy to see where the wineries and food stations were located.

Herbsaint Smoked Tomato Artichoke Bisque with Eggplant Caviar Froth (which was delicious!)

The very popular martini bar was a large ice sculpture.

Cocktails (shaken, not stirred!) were poured through the ice..

...and served in a glowing martini glass.

Chef Jamie Gwen served up Lobster Sliders

Chef Andrew Sutton's Goat Cheese Ravioli

Cafe Orleans' Deconstructed Ratatouille

House of Blues' Pan Seared Voodoo Shrimp

Ralph Brennan's Spicy Boiled Gulf Shrimp on Creole Gazpacho

And of course there were desserts!
