Attention Muppets Fans! A NEW Documentary Is Coming to Disney+ Soon

An incredible film dedicated to the imagination and creative journey of a beloved icon will be available for all to see soon on Disney+.

Disney has released the trailer for a much anticipated Disney+ original documentary detailing the life of a legendary puppeteer, animator, filmmaker, and director whose movies and shows have touched millions of hearts around the world and have inspired creatives of all ages.

Jim Henson Idea Man, directed by Award-winning filmmaker Ron Howard, raises the curtain on the legendary Jim Henson’s career and personal life, highlighting his achievements in entertainment and his magical imagination that brought his creations to life. Watch the trailer below!

Famous for his creations of Sesame Street, The Muppets, Labrinth, and more, the film chronicles Henson’s career early on, from his puppeteering on local television to his global successes. It also gives us a look into the true essence of Jim Henson, through never-before-seen material from his own personal archives.
