6 Secret Menu Items You Haven’t Tried Before in Disney World

We love a good secret — but secrets don’t make friends, so we’re sharing some of our secrets with you.

Disney Springs

There are secret menu items all over Disney World. A secret menu item is an item that is not on the regular menu and can be ordered. Secret menu items can change and evolve, so be sure to ask your Cast Member at each location about secret items. If they don’t have one you have heard about, they can probably point you to another one.

1. Brazilian Cheese Bread

First up, the Brazilian Cheese Bread or Pao de Queijo. You can find this at Skipper Canteen. This is VERY similar to the Brazilian Cheese Bread that can be found during the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, but this option is served with chimichurri cream cheese. And friends, this was a total game-changer!

2. Secret Cocktails

If you are over in Disney Springs, you’ll want to check out Jock Lindsay’s Hangar Bar. This bar is known for having some secret cocktails off the menu. Be sure to ask your server what is currently offered, but in the past, we have tried the Lucky Lindy, which has Byejoe Dragon Fire Jameson (that baby’s got CHILI in it) with hibiscus, lime juice, pineapple, and white cranberry juice.

3. Gideon’s Hot Cookie Hour

Speaking of Disney Springs, Gideon’s Bakehouse has a hot cookie hour twice a day from 2-3 PM and 7-8 PM. What is this exactly? You can enjoy fresh out-of-the-oven cookies topped with a scoop of ice cream. The cold ice cream is the perfect companion to the warm cookies and they’re a crowd favorite.

4. Dark Coffee Cake Cookie

Alright, so Gideon may be getting a lot of our money because we also cannot resist the Dark Coffee Cake Cookie. The cookie becomes available from Sunset to Sell Out. Check the time for sunset on your phone each day and that’s when you can snag this secret cookie.

5. Cookies N Cream Milkshake

Over in EPCOT at Sunshine Seasons, we recently discovered a new item that is not on their menu yet. It’s the Cookies n Cream Milkshake, and it is heavenly. You’ll head to the dessert counter inside of Sunshine Seasons and ask for it.

6. Restaurantosaurus Lounge

In Animal Kingdom, there is a hidden lounge area next to Restaurantosaurus. This lounge is to the left of the restaurant and serves cocktails, beer, and more. You’ll want to stop by here to see what they currently have, but we’ve seen Annual Passholder exclusive drinks here before.

  1. I was convinced by my waiter at Skipper Canteen to try that “secret menu” cheese bread several months back though really if the waiter is telling his customers about it, isn’t it basically what you call a “special” as opposed to a “secret”, but I digress, the bread was dry and nothing special for me and I immediately regretted wasting my money and precious stomach space that could have been reserved for tastier offerings once I took the first bite but I didn’t want to waste my money or the food so I ate about half of them. Maybe it was an off day but they weren’t a game changer for me.
