ALL of the Restaurants Coming to Disney’s NEW Treasure Cruise Ship

Ready for MORE about Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Treasure? We sure hope so…

Are you ready for an ADVENTURE?

Because now we’re diving into one of the VERY BEST things about cruising (and, more specifically, cruising with Disney). We’re talking about DINING! We’ve been hearing hints about this new cruise ship for months and keeping up with all the latest news, and now it’s time — at long last — to share more about the restaurants that are going to be onboard the new ship!

Rotational Dining on the Disney Treasure

Let’s start with a classic Disney Cruise Line dining experience: Rotational Dining! Also known as the Cruise Line’s family dining concept, this service style allows guests to dine at THREE unique restaurants for dinner each evening while their own dedicated service team “rotates” with them to each restaurant, getting to know each traveling group and their preferences.

Plaza de Coco

A Coco-themed restaurant — Plaza de Coco — will be the first theatrical dining experience themed to the Disney and Pixar movie!

This all-new restaurant, unique to the Disney Treasure, will feature live music and entertainment during TWO distinct dining experiences (and all guests will be able to enjoy both). Entertainment will be presented in a theater-in-the-round space (where the table surround one central stage), while the performances themselves, as well as show effects, will spread throughout the setting.

Miguel’s story (and that of his family) will pick up where it left off in Coco, as the familia comes together in Mariachi Plaza “to take guests on a colorful, music-filled journey that celebrates family memories and togetherness.”  Disney shares that families will be welcomed to join Miguel, his parents, Enrique and Luisa, and Abuelita Elena for “a gathering that honors the heritage of music and love that runs deep in the Rivera family.”

During a second night at Plaza de Coco, guests will see Miguel reuniting with his great-great grandparents, Hector and Mama Imelda — with a little help from his magic guitar — for a celebration of Día de los Muertos, and beloved songs from Coco will be part of the festivities!

As for the eats, passengers can look forward to “modern twists on traditional Mexican fare.”

Worlds of Marvel

Two restaurants that made their debut on the Disney Wish will complete the Rotational Dining lineup. Guests will be immersed into Worlds of Marvel, featuring characters and stories of Avengers (including an interaction with a certain web-slinger).

The “worldly menu” is likewise inspired by settings in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and — as with Plaza de Coco — guests will enjoy two unique shows and dining on two separate nights.

1923

1923, which also debuted on the Disney Wish and is named for the founding year of Walt Disney Animation Studios, will continue to “celebrate the profound impact of Disney’s animation legacy” aboard the Treasure.

Diners will be surrounded by artwork inspired by Walt Disney’s love of adventure as expressed through classic and modern Disney animated films.

The upscale setting — reminiscent of Hollywood’s golden age — will feature “a sophisticated menu inspired by the fusion of cultural flavors found throughout California and designed with families in mind.”

Lounges on the Disney Treasure

We’ve mentioned previously that the Disney Treasure will deliver its own unique sense of adventure. And it seems that the NEW lounges aboard the ship will play a huge role in setting the scene!

Skipper Society

Can’t get enough of the Jungle Cruise? Well then… the Skipper Society is made for YOU!

©Disney

This lounge, located near the Grand Hall, is a tribute to the beloved Jungle Cruise attraction and all its various versions at Disney Parks around the world! It sounds like the biggest adventure for those wacky and wonderful Jungle Cruise Skippers yet, set in what Disney is calling an “elevated, yet playful atmosphere.” (We imagine they’ll be able to point out the Eighth Wonder of the World — the Backside of Water! — as you sail together. 😉 )

©Disney

Camp-style furnishings and natural colorways will set the scene, and fans of the ride should keep their eyes peeled for references to the Jungle Cruise tucked all throughout the lounge.

Explorer Arthur Quinn and Emma

A monkey-shaped chandelier? Check. Postcards and luggage tags brought back from travels abroad? Check.  A “canopy of untamed jungle foliage”? Check! Themed cocktails, light bites, and live entertainment? Check, check, AND check!

Periscope Pub

Another new lounge, the Periscope Pub, is Disney Cruise Line’s first venue inspired by the 1954 film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. It’s also a tribute to the Disney Parks attraction which operated in Walt Disney World from 1971 to 1994. (Give me a “WOO HOO!” if you remember!)

©Disney

The pub’s submarine-style design “will call upon 19th-century steampunk influences with polished metals and industrial touches throughout.”  But, as with all Disney spaces, you’ll want to be sure to LOOK UP. Of course, it will be difficult NOT to notice the window spanning the entire ceiling, offering views into “the mythical depths of the uncharted oceans…” (Channel your inner Captain Nemo on the Nautilus!)

©Disney

Decorative elements will include an embroidered statement rug “to honor Captain Nemo’s fabled nemesis, the giant squid.”

And if you’ve ever wondered how Captain Nemo caught the big game, the Pericope Pub provides the answer, as the spot will give guests the chance to watch live sports, news, and major broadcast events. Craft brews and light snacks will be up for grabs, too.

Casual Dining on the Disney Treasure

Marceline Market

As on the Disney Wish, Marceline Market — which is, of course, named after Walt Disney’s childhood home of Marceline, Missouri — is a food hall that is “inspired by popular marketplaces from around the world.”

Marceline Market

Guests can pop in to grab a bite from oodles of constantly-changing items and enjoy their meal with ocean views from inside the Market or from the outdoor seating area.

Quick Bites

The upper decks will also offer “an imaginative take on fast-casual fare with a festive character twist,” such as we’ve seen on the Disney Wish with Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods featuring distinct food stations inspired by favorite Disney pals!

Goofy’s Grill

We’re talkin’ pizza, BBQ, Mexican fare, ice cream, grilled burgers ‘n dogs, and more… all ready for a quick bite!

Room Service

Oh, and though it’s not a restaurant, per se, we don’t want to forget to mention that 24-hour room service is always just a phone call away from your stateroom on the Treasure!

Adults-Only Dining on the Disney Treasure

THREE adult-exclusive dining locations — each inspired by Beauty and the Beast — will provide opportunities for a beautiful date night or an upscale evening with friends and family… at SEA!

Palo Steakhouse

Disney Cruise Line’s popular Palo Steakhouse will also find its home on the Treasure.

©Disney

It will present its lovely signature combination of “authentic Italian dining with the classic refinement of a modern steakhouse” but on the Treasure, as with the Wish, the setting will draw inspiration from Cogsworth.

Enchanté

Two exclusive experiences that made their debut on the Disney Wish will be found aboard the Treasure, as well! Enchanté (featuring a menu by three-Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement) will offer the most luxurious dining experience on the ship in a romantic, intimate setting.

©Disney

The beloved Candelabra, Lumiere, serves as the inspiration for the space.

The Rose

The Rose is a lounge offering “an upscale suite of epicurean excellence” to enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif or after-dinner cocktail. It will be found outside the entrance to Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté.

What other than the rose with falling petals that reminds the Beast of his potential fate to serve as the inspiration for this space?

Sweetshop on the Disney Treasure

Who’s ready for some SWEETS and TREATS?? Well, there’s a sweetshop coming to the Disney Treasure, themed to Zooptopia! Jumbeaux’s Sweets (which will remind fans of the film of Zootopia’s ice cream parlor, Jumbeaux Café).

©Disney

Pink interiors will lend a playful vibe paired with Victorian-style architecture that will all ultimately surround a sculpture of Officer Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde.

©Disney

“Humor and heart by the cone full” is what guests can look forward to! More than 20 flavors of handmade gelato, 16 flavors of ice cream and sorbets, and other specialty treats will be on offer.

Cafes on the Disney Treasure

Heihei Café

Start your day at Heihei Café! Or grab an afternoon pick-me-up of coffee or tea at this spot located near the Grand Hall.

Pua and Hei Hei

Moana’s sidekick, Heihei, serves as the inspiration as well as the namesake for the spot, and the space will reflect “the scalloped seashells and reflective blue waters of the storied Southern Pacific Isle of Motunui ” from Moana.

Moana in Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Beyond the colors, something super cool is that the cafe will showcase “furniture stylings that pay homage to a traditional construction technique used by the Polynesian people to craft seafaring vessels.”

Jade Cricket Café

Jade Cricket Café pays homage to the Fa Family’s “lucky” cricket, Cri-Kee in Mulan!

©Disney

A jade sculpture on the bar top will offer a tribute to the character, while the central moon gate and plum blossom flowers on the walls will symbolize Mulan’s strength, beauty, and heritage. And here’s a hint: the “glimmering metallic counters” are meant to be reminiscent of Mulan’s armor!
