We recently did a deep dive to the nine Enneagram Types to determine what your ideal Disney World attraction would be, and that got us thinking: what other Disney facets could we match with our type?
Today, we’ll be looking at some of our favorite Disney characters to see which ones closely align with the nine types! If you want to find out what your Enneagram Type is, there are several sites online that will give you some insight. Check that out, then hurry back here!
Let’s find out which Disney character you are most like based on your Enneagram Type!
Type One: The Reformer/Perfectionist
One of the most important traits of Type One’s are their inclination to follow the rules. They’re principled individuals who can exert a lot of self-control. Two characters we think closely align with this Enneagram Type are Jiminy Cricket and Mary Poppins!
Both of these characters are quite principled and have a knack for following the rules. Jiminy himself is literally an embodiment of Pinocchio’s conscience! And, of course, Mary Poppins is “practically perfect.” These traits make them ideal choices for Type One!
Type Two: The Helper/Giver
Type Twos are generous, caring people who want nothing more than to make sure everyone around them is taken care of. Their deepest desire is to be liked, and they will go out of their way to make sure others are happy. We think many of the classic Disney Princesses could fit this category, but the one that stuck out above the rest was Snow White!
While Snow White dreams of her Prince to come and rescue her, she spends most of the film singing about cleaning the house and telling the Seven Dwarfs to wash their hands. All of this comes out of the goodness of her heart, and Snow White is arguably the most caring Disney character out there.
Type Three: The Achiever
Type Three’s are all about chasing their dreams. No challenge is too small for a Type Three, and they will do everything in their power to make sure they reach their goals and aspirations. Two Disney characters that fit the bill are Tiana and Remy!
Both of these characters aren’t just dreamers, they’re also doers! They have big plans for the future (ironically both involving food), and they spend their journeys working toward their singular goals.
Type Four: The Individualist
Type Four’s are highly attuned with their emotions. Known to be temperamental and sensitive, we knew the matching Disney characters would need to be feisty in all the right ways! That’s why we chose Donald Duck and Belle as our resident Type Fours!
Both Donald Duck and Belle have hearts of gold, but if you provoke them, they’ll let you know exactly how they feel! Having a bit of a temper isn’t all that bad, and to be honest there’s probably a little bit of Type Four in all of us! Type Fours, you’re in good company!
Type Five: The Investigator
Our next category, Type Five, is full of innovative and intelligent individuals. They’re full of zany ideas and can often be seen as intense. We think Jack Skellington is a classic Type Five.
Jack is a visionary ahead of his time and sees things that the other folks in Halloween Town can’t. This, of course, leads to a sense of isolation and loneliness, where Jack is often more comfortable with his work than dealing with other people.
Type Six: The Loyalist/Skeptic
Those who fall in the category of Type Six are security-oriented individuals. They can often feel suspicious and anxious about the world around them, and they above all else want to be prepared for any problem that may arise. We think that Piglet fits the mold of a Type Six quite well!
While Piglet is a worrier, he is also a fiercely loyal friend to Winnie the Pooh, which is a solid tip of the hat to the “loyalist” aspect of Type Six! As much as we hear Piglet exclaim “Oh d-d-dear,” we also hear him talk about how much he treasures his friends.
Type Seven: The Enthusiast
Seven’s are ALL about having a good time! Those who fall into the Type Seven category are full of energy. Fun-loving individuals, they can often get bored easily and may sometimes appear scattered. We actually had the easiest time coming up with loads of energetic characters that could fit Type Seven, but the two we thought were among the strongest contenders were Tigger and Peter Pan.
Both Tigger and Peter Pan prioritize having fun above everything else in life. They’re always in the mood to go on a new adventure and definitely don’t take kindly to having to sit still!
Type Eight: The Challenger
Known as “The Challenger,” Type Eights will stand up for what they believe in and “challenge” the status quo. They are power individuals who are very self-confident and decisive in their actions. With all of that in mind, we selected Mulan and Esmeralda!Â
Both of these women are not to be messed with. They are extremely strong-willed and are perfect examples of what it means to be confident individuals.
Type Nine: The Peacemaker
Last but certainly not least, we have Type Nine, otherwise known as The Peacemaker! Type Nine’s typically keep a lower profile and let those around them set the agendas. They are carefree individuals who are rather agreeable and easygoing. Type Nine would have to be Timon and Pumbaa!
These two are the perfect duo to wrap up our list, as they are the literal embodiment of an easygoing lifestyle. Hakuna Matata should probably be the anthem for all of you Type Nines.
