Can You Buy Annual Passes Through the UK Disney World Website? Here's What We Saw.

Since Disney World closed a year ago, Disney has paused the sale of new Annual Passes, with no date for when they will be coming back for sale.

While there are (very) limited circumstances for guests to buy Annual Passes now, the only other way to get an Annual Pass currently is through renewing one you have never cancelled. However, this morning, we noticed something odd on the UK version of the Disney World website.

When you navigate to to the Annual Pass page on the UK Walt Disney World website, you’ll notice the option to add an Annual Pass to your cart.

The website currently lists the Platinum Annual Pass, as well as options for Florida Residents. However, while it will let you add these to your cart, the website will not let you actually purchase. Instead, when you go to check out, you will be led to a “Someone Ate the Page” notice.

While it’s currently unknown whether Disney is working on these pages, or if it’s just a temporary glitch, it does appear that new Annual Passes still cannot be bought at this time through the UK website. We tried accessing through several different computers and browsers, and were left with the same result each and every time.

Since initially giving Passholders the option to cancel when the parks closed last year, Disney has not released any date for when the sale of new Annual Passes will resume. We know this is an important question that’s top of mind for many of our readers, so stay tuned and we will update as soon as we know more!
