The Absolute FEAST That Everyone Should Try At Least Once in Disney World

When deciding on the table service dining you want to experience on your upcoming Disney World trip, there’s a lot to choose from.

Character dining or regular meal? How expensive are you willing to go? What time of day are you willing to step away from the other experiences in the parks to sit down and dine for an hour? We get it — there are a lot of questions running around your head, but allow us to make it the tiniest bit easier. This is one table service meal everyone needs to try AT LEAST once.

Artist Point is located at Wilderness Lodge and is home to a special dining opportunity called Story Book Dining. This is a table-service restaurant open for dinner between 4-9:15PM each night, where guests will get to interact with Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and even the Evil Queen!

This restaurant is home to a prix-fixe menu where the table will share an appetizer course made up of Hunter’s Terrine, Wild Mushroom Bisque and Wicked Shrimp Cocktail, but each person dining will get to choose their own entree. Options include:

  • Royal Prime Rib Roast
  • Brother’s Grimm Herbed Chicken
  • Magic Mirror’s Slow-braised Pork Shank
  • Beef Stroganoff
  • Bashful’s Butter Poached Sustainable Fish
  • A Stroll Through Nature (vegetarian option)
  • Royal Prime Rib Roast, Grilled Chicken or Princess Pasta for kids

The table will also share dessert, getting one of each of the following:

  • “Poison” Apple
  • Fairy Tale Gooseberry Tart
  • Miner’s Treasures

You’ll be dining in the Enchanted Forest during your meal and will be able to see the characters a few times during your meal. Pricing for this meal is $65 per adult and $39 per child (9 or under), plus tax and gratuity. Advance dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of your trip are highly encouraged, but you can also check for reservations on the day of to see if any cancellations open up a spot.
