There Are Only Five Types of Disney Adults in the World – Here’s Who You Are

What do you call an adult who loves Disney? A Disney Adult.

Happily Ever After

There is no shame in being a Disney Adult, our team is full of them. All Disney Adults are not the same, though. We’ve identified five types of Disney Adults, and now you can see which category you might fall under!

Adults go to the Disney Parks for a lot of reasons. Maybe there is new merchandise or new food they want to try. Regardless of their reasons, they might fall under one of these five Disney Adult categories.

The Disney Bounders

Do you like to dress up as Disney characters but with a modern twist? Then you just might be a Disney Bounder. These adults love to go to the parks and make sure their outfit is inspired by a character, attraction, or even parade that they love at Disney.

The Team’s Aladdin Disney Bound

We have seen some impressive bounds in the park. If you are looking to get into Disney Bounding here is some inspiration from our team.

The Park Professionals

Do you find yourself running to the parks as soon as a new pair of ears drops? Are you in charge of Lightning Lane selections for your group? Do you have the maps of the parks memorized? Well, you just might be a Park Professional Disney Adult!

You ARE the map

Every group needs one of these Disney Adults to help plan out the perfect Disney day!

The Ones Who Go in for a Snack and a Ride

If you live close to the parks, you might find yourself doing fewer long park days and more quick stops to the parks. You might just want to ride one ride and then get a snack and go home. If this sounds like you, you might be a Disney Adult who goes to the parks all the time.

Scanning in for a quick trip

You probably could recite all the ride spiels, but roll your eyes at those who recite them out loud. Getting to go to the park whenever you feel like it, even if it is for a short time, is a dream for many Disney Adults.

The Ones Who Are Content Creators

Do you go to the parks just to vlog? Are you there the day a new ride opens or on the first day of a festival? Do you take a lot of pictures and constantly post them to social media? Well, you might just be a Content Creator for Disney Adults.

Don’t worry, we also went on the first day of the festival!

These Disney Adults can bring the joy of Disney to those Disney Adults who might not get to go all the time. The AllEars team falls perfectly under this category.

The Historian

Do you know a crazy amount of Disney fun facts? Do you find yourself pointing out easter eggs and hidden mickeys to your friends? Well, you just might be a Historian Disney Adult.

We admire your dedication to learning all things Disney and you probably teach everyone in your party something new!

Hidden Mickey in Living Seas

You might fall under all of these categories instead of just one. Regardless, you are still probably a Disney Adult.

  1. I just told a Realtor yesterday that I was a Disney adult (as I begin a search for a condo in MCO!) Shortly afterwards she said she had an issue & had to go. She’d call me back. I thought it strange, but at first I believed her, now after a full day went by, not so much. I’m the Disney professional, love to plan as much as go (almost!)

  2. I am somewhere between a Park Professional and a Historian. If I lived closer I would definitely be there everyday and probably fit all the types!

  3. What about the Disney adults who live thousands of miles away, across an ocean, and can only realistically get to Florida once every 5 or 6 years? We live vicariously through the content creators (although some of them, admittedly, make me cringeeee) but mostly through photos, videos and reading things like allears.net

I think there are definitely more than five types of Disney adults. Just need to broaden your horizons a little.

  4. These Disney adults live two thousand miles away, or more. They visit this magical place in December-February. Temperatures are cooler . They enjoy just being outside, walking and enjoying the beauty that is Disney World. They have their favorite food and restaurants, but aren’t afraid of trying something new. Even though they are older, they still enjoy all the thrill rides. Or maybe not. They enjoy people watching and striking up conversations with people from all over the world; who, as it turns out, are not so different from themselves
