Candlelight Processional Reader Comments

Katharine Chisholm, 12/22/05: My family and I attended the 6:45pm Candlelight Processional on December 22 and I have to say it was one of the best performances we have ever seen at the parks. We were lucky enough to be there to hear Jim Caviezel read the Christmas Story. His moving performance helped all of us remember what Christmas is truly about.

We arrived at Epcot around 6pm with hopes of getting in line to get a seat, however, by that time the dinner line was already down to the International Bridge and the stand-by line to Italy. Knowing we had no hope of getting a seat, my family and I staked out standing places beside the little house in front of the theater. We were right in the center of the stage about a foot back from the rope. Although we had to move when the choir processed in, the attendants handled it wonderfully and we were able to reclaim our original place. Although it was unusually cold, neither my husband and I noticed until the end of the performance! I highly recommend anyone attending this time of year to check out the Candlelight Processional!

Sara W., 12/10/05: It was a beautiful program, as always. The only drawback was the lack of general admission seating. My family and I got in line at 3:10 for the 5pm show, and ended up sitting in the last row of the America Gardens Theatre. All but the last 3 rows of the theatre were reserved for dinner package guests or special groups. Based on where we were in line (near the America pavilion) and how far the line extended (past Italy and Germany), countless guests were allowed to stand in line with no hope of getting a seat. This was our 5th year attending the processional (always on a weekend), but the first we have seen so much of the theatre reserved, and seen cast members fail to inform guests they would not get in the show.

Dawn, 12/3/05: Our family (My self, husband, 4 year old son, and mother in law) attended the 5:00 Candlelight Processional on December 3, 2005. We took the recommendation of doing the dinner reservations. Our passes were waiting for us at our hotel. We spent the whole day at Epcot. We started in the front and then moved towards the countries around 3:00. Around 4:15 we got in line. Once we were able to come in at 4:30 or so. The line moved very quickly and we got 3rd row seats. The choirs were spectacular. The horns kept the attention of our 4 year old. We were impressed by the narrator Haley Joel Osment. After the show and being in a total holiday mood, we ate dinner at Nine Dragons. Although it was crowded the service was great. I don't think any of the servers missed a beat. They even made special chicken nuggets for our son without hesitation. We all left very full and jolly. We are so glad that we paid the extra money for the reservation. It was worth every penny.

Lynne, 12/3/05: One of the highlights of our trip was the Candlelight Processional. We purchased the Dinner Package for the 12/03/05 5pm show. The choir and orchestra were wonderful and the narration was moving. Definitely worth the extra money! For those attending upcoming shows: It was a Saturday night and we arrived at the theater at 4:30 pm. The line for those with the Dinner Package was already very long – we got into line in Morocco. When we were let into the theater, they had the bottom section roped off for "VIPs". We chose a seat in the 2nd row, just behind the reserved handicapped seats, in the upper section. Just before the show started, they allowed people to go down and fill in the empty seats in the lower section. Because we were on the side and in the 2nd row, we were able to quickly move down and take some of the better seats.

Kim from Beverly Hills, FL, November 26, 2005: I wanted to share the experience my husband and I enjoyed with my in-laws this past weekend at Epcot. Two years ago my husband and I were on our honeymoon at WDW (of course) and had the pleasure of seeing the Candlelight Processional. My in-laws had never seen it, but had heard us raving about it. We finally got our schedules together and were all able to attend this past Saturday. We saw the 5 pm show with the fabulous Rita Moreno narrating, followed by dinner at the German Biergarten. This show never fails to thrill me. The orchestra and choir were wonderful and the new female conductor… a joy to watch! Ms. Moreno was so animated and her delivery of the story of Christmas was very moving. The Hallelujah Chorus had the audience on its feet. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get into the true spirit of Christmas. (It even got my father-in-law in the mood to put up his tree early!)

Stephanie Campbell comments: I attended the 8:15pm Candlelight Processional on December 5, 2004. Jim Caviezel was the narrator at this performance. For anyone who has not seen this event, please make it a "must see" on your next trip to Disney World.

My sister-in-law and I purchased dinner package and had dinner at the Rose and Crown Pub. The food and service were both excellent. We
finished dinner and went to stand in line for the performance. The line for reserved seating stretched all the way to Morroco (for those
not familiar with Epcot this is 3 countries away from the United States). The line moved quickly however and we managed to get seats
in the 3rd row!

The performance was incredible! Jim Caviezel was so moving as the narrator and he himself was moved to tears at times during the performance. The music was incredible and really moved me to tears at several times myself!

I reccommend this for anyone who really wants to experience the true meaning of Christmas!

Jennifer comments: I didn't know what subject to place this under but I was reading all the wonderful comments about the Candlelight Processional. I wanted to share my experience. I am currently (December 2003) attending university in Central Florida. I have lived in Florida all my life. This year will be my 10th year performing in the CP. Last night we finished our first date. My choir is from the local community college (VOV ROCKS!) and has participated in it for the past 4 or 5 years. It's such a joy and an honor to be part of this program. The first time I did this program I was 14 and a second soprano. It was hot and we had these awful polyester robes from a local church. I had a blast that year. From then on I took choir, one of the major reasons was so that I could do the CP. Now I'm 23 years old, a 1st alto, & a graduate student. It's all very exciting. Dan & John are excellent directors! The program is very moving and the narrators are always wonderful. Even if you aren't of the Christian faith this is a beautiful program. Tonight, for the very first time I was in the audience. My cousin, Ashley, sang her first show tonite and my baby brother, Joshua, sang his last show tonight… It was an awesome show. I do recomend that when it comes to getting good seating for you either to shell out the cash for the dinner package or to come midweek. Like a Tuesday night, there was plenty of seating last night. The weekends are packed so it's harder to get a seat. If anyone's coming out this Friday or Saturday I'll see you there for my final shows of this season. If not see ya next year! God Bless!

On December 16, 2002 I was wandering around World Showcase enjoying the Holiday Storytellers when I came upon the American Adventure. Realizing it was about 5 minutes before 5:00pm Candlelight Processional would begin, I decided to see if I could find a decent place to sit. Having to find room for one certainly makes things easier for late arrivals and I quickly found a center spot about 3/4 of the way back. David Hartman was the narrator. He did a fantastic job! The program was the same as years past, which is just fine because I really enjoy it. The folks next to me were very nice and it made for an enjoyable show. (Deb Wills)

Has anyone complained about the way the Candlelight Procession was being run this year? My husband & myself went Sunday, Dec. 8. We stood in line for 1 hour & 45 minutes for the 6 something show. There were about 30 people in front of us. We expected to stand in line for a long time but also expected that we would get a great seat. When they finally let us in, 3/4 of the theatre was being reserved for vaious groups, including the dinner pkg. but we were told that the majority reserved seats were for gold sponsors. They allowed people to stand in line that went way back that there was no way they were getting in. We had to seat in the fourth row from the back.

This really bother us. My husband & I are season pass holders but we feel that everyone should have a chance to see the program. While we were waiting, I talked with a mother of one of the choir members from a high school in GA. It would be a shame if they couldn't get in along with all the other people who were allowed to stand in line. Cast members should do a head count and not let people stand in line after that. It isn't fair to let these folks stand in line so long and not even come close to getting in.

We were told by a cast member that all the shows were being reserved for gold sponsors and depending on how many responded weeks ago would determined how many seats would be reserved. Now I understand the importance of sponsors and I can understand closing the show to the public for one showing just for these sponsors but not all shows should be just for them. The guests who they all depend on for profit should be allowed a chance to see the program & not just the few who are at the front of the line. We thoroughly enjoyed the program. It truely is a wonderful program but what we experienced almost took all the enjoyement away. When we got into the theatre, we were took by surprise the way we were herded to the back rows and there wasn't a chance to talk to a cast member until after the program.

Reserving almost the whole theatre for gold sponsors is wrong and there should be a fairer way that guests, who pay dearly, should have a chance to see the program too, especially when they are willing to stand in line for hours to see.

Thank you for letting me voice myself. There are very few times that we are ever disappointed with our visits to WDW Parks. You never know from time to time how they are going to handle things. This is another gripe we have. You think you got it figured out and then they change it with no notification. We thought that by standing in line for 2 hours would assure us a good seat. We were suprised that we barely got in. (Jan, 12/8/02)

We attended the Candlelight Processional on Dec 7, 2002 at 6:00 and 8:15. My daughter was performing with her chorus that night and we purchased the dinner package to ensure we could sit where we could see her. The 6:00 show we did not have priority seating for, and got there about 10 minutes before the show started. We were escorted right in to a disabled seating section and had great seats except for the fact that my daughter was performing on the other side of the theater. By the time we got out of the first show and made our way to the line for the preferred seating the line was past the Japanese pavillion. To make matters worse, Disney for some reason scheduled the night parade at the same time and place people were lining up for the Candlelight Processional. What a congested mess. Imagine our disappointment when we finally got into the theater and found all the preferred seating was taken by special groups and roped off. Not only that but the roped off ! area wasn't even full, but the cast members would not allow anyone else to sit there. I pleaded for someone to take pity on me and give up their seat so I could film my daughter to no avail. The show is wonderful and shouldn't be missed, but don't waste your time and money with the dinner package. You'll just end up standing in line with no guarantee of a good seat. Stacey

We experienced the Candlelight Processional on the first night of our holiday stay (11/29/02). What a way to start our vacation!!! It was filled with the sights & sounds of Christmas. The stage was beautifully decorated, but the music and singing just took our breath away! The night air was a little cold, but the chills we felt were not from the weather. This was certainly the way to begin the holiday season. We had a dinner package & dined at Chef de France after the show. The meal was excellent. We're ready to go next year!! Linda Evans

Over the past 10 years I have gradually lost my hearing to the point where it is not possible for me to enjoy concerts and other primarily sound based presentations without the aid of hearing aids or sign language interpretation. The last 2 years I have attended the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT and have enjoyed it immensely. The reason, the skilled sign language interpreters. They are absolutely incredible and I am able to "hear" through their hands and body language. My greatest thrill was to attend a Candlelight Processional performance with Marlee Matlin narrating in ASL and Angela interpreting the music. The story came alive for me. The words were clear and the joy of the Christmas story was radiating throughout the performance. And I could hear only one voice clearly. A very deep bass voice. But I could understand it all because it was also interpreted into ASL. Can't wait for next year. (Lisa)

We attended the Candlelight Processional at Epcot on 12/28/01 and it was excellent. We were slightly late (no dinner package) but did not have to wait in a long line and they continued seating people for at least 20 minutes into the show. I would recommend that people go ahead and get in line even if the show has started. We sat at the back and the view was fine. LeVar Burton was the narrator; he did a great job and reminded us at the end that world peace depends on each one of us. The theater is lovely and the choirs wear white robes that change color with different lighting throughout the show. (Margaret Weatherford)

Candlelight Processional is wonderful and the dinner package is the way to go – even though the line looks long for the pkg. people, you really don't need to get in line that early – there's plenty of seats and they are all pretty good – both years we've gotten in the first or second row in the outdoor benches. And if you are going to shop in Epcot the 15% discount is great – we went over to Norway and bought Helly Hansen winter jackets and got almost about $75. off our purchase. It was the first time my parents had been to Disney since 1988 and they'd never seen anything but Magic Kingdom – at the end of Candlelight Processional my father exclaimed "well
that was too short!" he wanted it to go on all night. I would recommend everyone who enjoys Christmas music to see this. And Marlee Matlin and her narrator did a fabulous job! (Tricia Shinners, 2001)

We purchased the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package for Nov. 26th. We went to the 5:00 Processional and had priority seating at the Garden Grill for 6:50. It rained the entire day we were there. The 32. 50 per adult was a stretch of our budget, but we got in our character meal. Also, It was worth the extra $12 per adult to be seated under the overhang and not in the rain, and also to receive the special pin. A couple of nights later, we approached that area during the performance. We looked at the stage, and then got hamburgers from the restaurant in the American Pavilion and ate outside near the amphitheater. Although we couldn't see the show, we were able to enjoy our dinner to the music and narration. If the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package is not in your trip budget, or even if it is, I highly recommend trying out this option. It was pleasantly relaxing and really put us in the holiday spirit. (Clay & Lisa Lipscomb, 2001)

The Candlelight Processional was just beautiful. We watched it via "standing room." Next time I will make dinner reservations in order to get a seat!!! (Bill & Doris Heuring, 2000)

If you ever want too hear the voices of angels (without dying) the best place to be was this concert. I have never heard such great music coming from High School kids (some are Cast Members). In trying to decide what month to go back, our 13 year old said hands down go back in December to hear the choir again! So this December we will be back, only this time the video cam will be with us instead of at the Polynesian. (Cheryl, 2000)

It was great! We were on the ticketholders line when the early ToN parade went by and had a great view. The CP was even better than when I saw it years ago. Jodi Benson did a wonderful job. I especially remember one of the CMs in the Christmas tree. She was an older woman with white hair near the bottom. She smiled and grinned and thoroughly enjoyed herself the entire time. Just looking at her gave me a wonderful feeling. We ate at the Biergarten in Germany and had a great dinner. I heartily recommend attending the CP with the dinner package to everyone. The seats were great, the show is wonderful, the dinner delicious and the 15% discount is an added bonus. I bought the CD for myself and my folks (loved that 15% discount). (Nancy L. Gessner, 2000)

We have learned that 1) The upper tier dinner package is worth every dime – especially for my favorite, Chefs de France. 2) Buy the upper tier dinner package very early for best selection. (June is a good time!) 3) Those with the dinner package are guaranteed a seat for the show, and there aren't really any bad seats so don't wait in that long line. Head to the amphitheater about 5 minutes before the show starts and you'll get a decent seat. 4) Be sure to use a restroom BEFORE heading to the theater because the ones closest to it are always packed! 5) Angela Bassett is the best we've seen (compared to Barbara Eden, Brian Dennehy and Joe Mantegna). Unfortunately, by the time the narrators are announced, it's too late to get reservations at the best restaurants! (Beth Foss, 2000)

The Candlelight Processional was nice and we enjoyed sitting in front of the America Pavilion eating burgers and enjoying the music and narration. This actually worked out a little better for our group and is how we'll do it in the future. (Lisa F. Lipscomb, 2000)

We attended the show on Christmas Eve, the narrator was Gary Sinise. It was the first show of the day and the first show that he has ever narrated for Disney. He was absolutely wonderful. The choir, the lights, the orchestra was absolutely thrilling to hear. My husband recorded it and we have watched it over and over. I still get goose bumps. As only Disney can make happen, it snowed to the delight of my six-year-old. After, as part of the dinner package (I was told that 850 dinner packages had sold for each of the 3 shows that evening) we had dinner in Norway at the Akershus. It was a wonderful experience.

However, a word of advice for those who do not purchase a dinner package for this event, the first show of the evening was at 5:00 p.m., the line for general admission began to form at 2:00 p.m. They do not let general admission in until the people who have purchased dinner packages have been seated. One of the Cast Members I spoke with told me that the theater held roughly 1500 people. (Debbie Shulman, 2000)

I highly recommend it! With the dinner package, you receive an exclusive lanyard and cloisonné pin, along with a coupon for reserve seating and a voucher for your dinner. You even receive a clear, plastic "pouch" at the end of your lanyard so you can keep your Candlelight Processional Coupon and Dinner Voucher inside this pouch which makes it easy to find since everything you need is hanging around your neck!!!!

Many people make the mistake of standing in the dinner package line for an hour thinking they will get a better seat. WRONG. All the reserved seats for dinner package guests are great!!! The general public is seated behind you.

I went to THREE different Candlelight Processionals in early December of 2000. Angela Bassett; Jon Secada and James Avery were the guest narrators. The 40 minute program includes 12 Christmas songs mixed within a reading of the story of the Nativity. The dinner package is well-worth the price. The packages are priced at $35.00 per person or $45.00 per person, depending upon which restaurant you choose. What a bargain. I went to Chef de France where I had the $9.25 Coquilles Saint-Jacques; the $6.25 salad; the $26.25 Seafood casserole; and the $7.25 Millennium dessert and a $2.00 iced tea. That is a total of $51.00, not to mention the $3.00 sales tax and TIP of about $10.00. All was included in my $45.00 Candlelight Processional Dinner Package. Plus, you can use your Candlelight Processional Coupon to receive a 20 percent discount throughout the entire day at Epcot's many gift shops. With the reserve seating for The Candlelight Processional, along with a special lanyard and cloisonné pin, how can you go wrong? (Nancy McHolme, 2000)

Our Candlelight Processional experience began a bit irritatingly. Having purchased a dinner package, we had been told to pick up our tickets at Guest Services. After waiting for a considerable amount of time in line at Guest Services, we are informed that we are at the "wrong Guest Services". We have to go outside the park to THAT Guest Services, or over to a tent in the American Pavilion. This was kind of irritating, but off we went. We were pleasantly surprised to get a special lanyard and pin each. Later, as we headed to the CP, we ran into the Ton parade. This made getting to the CP rather difficult and frustrating, plus we missed the end of the "line" of people slowly working its way into the theater. We had no idea we were passing the line we should be in, and found ourselves doubling back to get in line. We thought the show was pretty good, nothing to jump up and down about, but entertaining and pleasant music nicely done. We would probably see it again, given an opportunity. (Jill (bagger), 2000)

The Candlelight Processional is done so nice. It really helps keep the true meaning of Christmas in all the rushing around you do, weather at Disney or outside. I have told everyone we know about this and tell them they must go in December to see it. (Enid Hadfield, 2000)

We went to the Candlelight Processional on 11/28/00 and Angela Bassett was the narrator. I thought the show was excellent and Angela Basset was great! I would encourage people to do the dinner package so you don't have to worry about standing in line to get seats. We went to the 8 pm show and it was very crowded because of the 6 PM show. We were waiting in line for seats while the 6 PM show was going on. Very long, crowded wait. I think the dinner package would have been a better idea. Both boys fell asleep on our laps (ages 6 and 7) so it was a nice relaxing show. I thought the songs and the orchestra were great (yes, I was the one singing along! My apologies to anyone who was seated around me!!!) (Julie McKeever, 2000)

Don't take small children to the candlelight processional. It was fantastic, but quite boring for a 3yr old and a 5yr old. (Fred Reinecke, 2000)

We attended the Candlelight Processional in mid December and were somewhat disappointed. We paid for the dinner package and still wound up sitting behind a pole. We also sat near a woman who wouldn't stop singing along quite loudly – we finally asked her to be quiet. Dear readers, if you go to this event, please note that those around you are there to hear THEM sing, not you. I think Epcot should rethink the location for the event – it really needs more room, preferably more centralized in the park. I felt so sorry for all those people who had trucked from the main entrance to get there in a hurry. I probably wouldn't go again, unless and until they put it in a better place. It's such a big crowd-drawing event that it should be treated as such. Thanks for letting me vent! (Kris Wiley, 2000)

We really enjoy the candlelight processional coupled w/the dinner package. We have seen it two years in a row and it is just as wonderful; different narrators make it a different performance. (Ann Lestarjette, 2000)

We cannot say enough about the Candlelight Processional (narrated by Robert Urich). We even watched it a second time, this time narrated by Phylicia Rashad. (Barbara Cerimele, 2000)

We also did the dinner package for the Candlelight Processional. Robert Urich was the narrator. It was breathtaking. The singing, music & telling of the 1st Christmas. Even though it was 80 degrees, it sure put us into the real spirit of Christmas. (Margie Cupaiuolo, 2000)

The Candlelight Processional in recent years has become less processional and more Christmas concert…Don't get me wrong, this is one of the best Christmas concerts you will ever hear, but when it was held in the Magic Kingdom and the choir came down a darken Main Street, candles in hand, now that was a processional. (Freddie L, 2000)

I escorted my fourth (annual) group to the Epcot Candlelight Processional. My own meal in France would have run about $60 (incl. tax and gratuity) had I not been there on the Processional Dinner package… quite a good value! And the others in our group experienced similar savings. That, and a great show, too – What a bargain! Despite being seated early, our entire group (both restaurants) had JUST enough time to use the restroom before heading to the 8:15 Processional. If we'd had 6:30 reservations or later, we'd have missed the beginning of the show.

We've seen many celebrities in the role of the narrator, but Angela Bassett wins the prize of those we've heard. Not that there was anything really wrong with the others, but she obviously prepared for her performance, took it as seriously as she would any movie role, and threw everything she had into it. She was also the first to sound as if she really believed in the miracle of which she spoke. A real inspiration and a very moving performance. We all look forward to going back again next year! (EFoss, 12/99)

This was our first trip during Christmas. We attended the Candlelight Processional and it was beautiful. Luckily we had the dinner package, because it was raining and we got to sit in the covered seats. The arrangements of the songs and the incredible sound of the massed choir were inspiring. We had already seen "Disney snow" by this point, but the snow during the processional was the best. (Crystal Cruise, 12/99)

SuzieZ and I arrived late for the Candlelight Processional and ended up getting escorted to some unused disability seats at the front. What a great view! Most of the singers were young and they looked really excited to be a part of this. The six trumpeters quietly appearing at the side 'stained glass windows' towards the end of the program was a great touch and they sounded magnificent. Lighting seemed more dramatic than two years ago, perhaps some tweaking was done. The woman interpreting the Candlelight Processional for the hearing-impaired was so animated she seemed to be almost dancing through the performance, wonderful to watch. More magic! Overall, a great performance. We'll be back next year, maybe for a dinner/show package. (Bob Quincy, 12/99)

We did the Candlelight Processional, it was cold and raining and kind of nasty out. The lines to see the show were very long (we arrived on the backside of World Showcase at 7 for the 7:30 show). We decided that we would not wait in the line; instead, we grabbed some napkins at the Liberty Inn, went out to the front of the restaurant's outdoor seating, dried off some seats under one of the big umbrellas, and actually had a pretty good view; we could hear everything. The neat part was that we got to see the candlelight procession come in right in front of our faces. We sat back and relaxed with hot coffee and really enjoyed the whole thing. Last night (11/28/97) was the initial night for the 1997 Candlelight Processional at Epcot Center. As our daughter's high school chorus was scheduled to sing as part of the 9pm show we decided to take advantage of the Candlelight Dinner package and attend. As part of the package, we received badges to wear that served two purposes – one: admission to the reserved seating section for the processional and two: a 15% discount on most purchases that evening (there are restrictions on the discount listed on the back of the badge).

Our dinner reservations were for 7:15 in Japan. We took a leisurely walk around World Showcase (via Canada) after watching the lighting ceremony for the Epcot Christmas Tree. We arrived in Japan with plenty of time to spare and gave our names to the podium and waited in the lobby until called.

As part of the Candlelight dinner package, we were able to pick anything from the menu (with the exception of lobster), including appetizer, desert and nonalcoholic drink. When it was time for the check to arrive, the waitress made it a point to tell us that we didn't owe a thing. The meal, taxes and tip were included as part of the dinner package. It was about 8:15 when we exited the restaurant.

When we entered the theater we were able to get 4th row seats on the right side of the stage . Reserved seating simply means that those with reserved seating get entrance to the theater before those that don't have reserved seating. In addition, the center half of the seats are roped off to denote the better viewing areas.

The show begins with the orchestra playing some traditional Christmas songs, followed by the introduction of the Voices of Liberty (another change – the costumes on the Voices of Liberty). In past years they wore "colonial" type costumes. After a short medley of holiday music (both Christian and Jewish) the conductor was introduced and the processional began. First the cast choir entered from the sides of the stage and formed the "tree" at the center of the stage. They were followed by the hand bells who took their places. Now its time for the massed choirs to enter. First to enter are the tenors and basses who walk down the center of the theater to the stage, then pass in front of the orchestra and take their places at the top of the risers.

After all of the massed choir is assembled on stage, the guest narrator is introduced. Tonight's narrator is Paula Zahn (TV news anchor) who is dressed in a pants suit (black slacks and a black/gold sequined jacket). Each section of the narration is punctuated by the singing of a traditional Christmas carol appropriate for that point in the telling of the story.

As a final note: We would highly recommend anyone going to Disney World during the holiday season attend this show. It is an excellent show with the chorus entirely made up from volunteers – from the volunteer cast choir (center stage in green robes) to the many high school and college choirs and choruses that perform each night (in gold robes) and the volunteer hand bell choir (see Kenny I didn't forget (g)). These musicians put in hours of work just for the opportunity to perform in the show (the school choruses submit audition tapes in September) and get their first chance to perform together as a group when they arrive at Epcot on the day of the performance. The show wouldn't be the same without their hard work.

We found the Candlelight dinner package to be well worth the price. Dinner with tax and tip would have been almost what we paid for the package plus you get 15% discount on purchases all day. If you are planning on attending and want to eat at one of the premier Epcot restaurants this is the way to go. (Gene Baral 11/97)

We did see the Candlelight Processional this past December and thought it was wonderful. My elderly mother and aunt were moved to tears and rated it as one of the highlights of the entire trip! What we did *not* do was buy tickets. IMO, any seat is a good seat at this theater (it is the outdoor theater near the American Adventure) and, since we visited in the middle of December when the crowds were light, we were able to grab a great seat at the last minute without the extra cost. So, yes I highly recommend the show, yes, I would do it again, and yes, it was worth the money if you want that extra guarantee of seating – otherwise, I'd see it for free. 🙂 (Dotti, 12/95)
