I love the scenery in Mexico, but I can’t get behind the temple. The ride is simply outdated and should be redone with a Coco theme. The best part of Mexico is the quick service outside of the temple.
Pros:
Good Food Air ConditioningCons:
Outdated Ride Can get packedReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 04/12/2020

this pavilion is a nice place to cool off and have a meal. The attraction is good for little children.

My wife and I went to the Epcot Food and Wine Festival and we have always loved Disney World. Our always \"grab a bite to eat\" location is San Angel Inn. Well, it seems like the quality of food is going down while the price is going up. Also, the boat ride in Mexico (Gran Fiesta Tour), just needs to go away. It's one boring ride and just a complete time sucker. Don't even bother with it.
Pros:
The overall ambiance of the restaurant is wonderful with the volcano in the background with the low lighting to kind of set a dinner mood. Sitting by the railing in the tables is the best seat in the house.Cons:
The price of the food and the water ride just sucks!Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 04/13/2020

Mildly entertaining. It's dark inside the pyramid and there is a boat ride - rides are rare in the World Showcase so that is what makes it worth visiting.
Pros:
There is a rideCons:
Dark inside and is a restaurant and shopping stalls to get to the rideReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 08/04/2022

I love the night time atmosphere as well as it being a place to cool down. Great merchandise, and place to sit and eat or drink. And hey, if you want go hop on a boat with Donald, Jose, and Panchito.
Pros:
Great food and drink, places to buy things, cute rideCons:
Love Gran Fiesta, but perhaps it might be time for Coco to come in.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 05/01/2020

The inside atmosphere makes this pavilion. The temple exterior is cool, but when you step inside you're transported to a Mexican market at night! Best thing about this is that it's AC'd, which is a lifesaver if you're visiting between April and October. The food is adequate, if a bit safe, although the inside restaurant has some menu items you won't find at your normal tex-mex eatery, and the views of the ride boats passing by makes this stand out from many of the other eateries. The ride is OK. Like most recent Epcot updates, most of the nostalgic edu-tainment has been replaced with Disney characters. It's not the worst way to spend 5 minutes but it's by no means a "must-do" attraction.
It's also worth mentioning that if you have the patience the outside seating is a pretty good place to catch the night show.
All-in-all, a solid pavilion with above average imagineering, and AC'd inside space make this a location you should probably check out as you make your way around the world.
