I never rode the original version or Journey into Your Imagination, so I just know this version, and it’s the best ride in this plane of existence. The best part about everyone hating this ride is that the line is at most 15 minutes. The ride doesn’t lie when it says WITH FIGMENT. Figment doesn’t not exist in this variation. The ride begins with a pre-tour video where Figment comes back from his 2-year vacation to the imagination pavilion. The next segment is the Sound Lab where Figment calls Dr. Nigel Channing, and he loses his train of thought. Figment finds it however, and the vehicles move to the sight lab. The ride vehicles circle around a sight chart where Figment creates a song. The ride vehicles then enter the Gambling Lab, I mean Smell Lab, and Figment takes over a machine and rolls a triple skunk, creating a burnt coffee smell. Channing then cancels your tour so you go to Figment’s open house, which is upside down. After this you follow Figment’s Commute to the Institute. Arriving at the institute, Channing joins Figment and they reach the Figment Dimension. After entering a starfield, lights come back on and you leave the ride.

Figment!
Though i've never experienced holiday sweater wearing Figment.
The smell section should be set up so that you get a random smell each time, with the possibility of the skunk smell hitting you. Lemon, orange, rose, skunk...etc....not knowing which smell you get would make it fun.

Figment.Cons:
That moon at the end. What the what?!?! The skunk smell. The ride could use a refresh.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 01/26/2022

I don't care if the ride is not great (which it's not) or if the plot is kind of dumb (which it is), I will always love anything that involved Figment and keeps him alive. Figment = 10/10
Pros:
It has FigmentCons:

A classic slow moving ride with a catchy song! Good for the whole family. We must ride this every time we go to Epcot because we love Figment.
Pros:
Short wait times, usually doesn't need a fastpass. Has air conditioning, which can be a relief in hot and humid months.Cons:
Only slightly reminiscent of a better, prior version of the ride that only exists now in our memories, yet will always be compared to it.Reviewed by Stitchgrrl79 Review Date: 02/23/2021

I am a huge fan of the original and wish they would bring it or an updated version of it back. I think it could use more Figment and I do miss the rainbow tunnel and hands on activities. I recommend this ride to any adult and/or child that has an imagination and an appreciation for the classics.
Pros:
Figment is the cutest character, next to Stitch.Cons:
Can use an update with more Figment.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 02/19/2021
