This might be the most overrated attraction in Magic Kingdom (maybe even WDW as a whole). It's neither as well themed as Big Thunder in California, nor as thrilling or intense as the version in Paris. It's nice for kids and offers nice views of Frontierland, but as a ride it is a bit anaemic and suffers from a lack of imagination; I would argue that Seven Dwarves Mine Train offers a more interesting ride experience.
Pros:
It's a 'classic' I guess? The theming is fun if a bit sparse, the ride vehicles are iconic, and the views of Frontierland/Magic Kingdom are excellent.Cons:
No projection effects on the lift-hill like in the other versions. Nowhere near as exciting as the version in Paris, and nowhere near as well themed and maintained as Disneyland's. Just not exciting enough a track layout for an outdoor rollercoaster.Reviewed by MichelleAudreyandMatt Review Date: 04/19/2021

While this ride is quite fun, the one in Disneyland is much better, after all it does have the dynamite and the lift hills!
Pros:
Nice theming, classic ride!Cons:
Not as thrilling as the one in DisneylandReviewed by Braden Review Date: 07/26/2020

This is a really fun coaster. It is themed to the Wild West and is super fun. If your kid is ready for thunder mountain I would recommend riding in the front. It is not as thrilling in the front and your kid can work there way up to more thrilling parts. It is the most thrilling in the back of the train. I think older kids will like it best.
Pros:
Very fun coaster.Cons:
The line gets some of the longest waits in the parks getting to a 75 minute wait.Reviewed by disneyonmymind Review Date: 06/24/2020

I enjoy this ride every time I go on it. It is fun and I like small details in the que. In my opinion it is better than 7 dwarves mine train, but this ride can hurt your back and for older kids they might not find this thrilling.
Pros:
Fun,fast,Cons:
Not so thrilling, people may prefer 7 dwarves, the ride hurts your backReviewed by Coolcolombian21 Review Date: 01/06/2021

This ride is such a fun ride that isn't super thrilling but makes up with its amazing theming. I like this ride but personally wouldn't wait more than 45 minutes for it since the ride isn't very thrilling and the queue is all outdoors with no air conditioning. Once fastpass+ comes back i definitely recommend a fastpass for this ride
