When
using any of the Walt Disney World methods of transportation,
please allow plenty of time to get to your destination!
It's better to arrive early, than be stressed out and late!
Boats
Ferryboat
 |
Three different Ferryboats run from
Transportation and Ticket Center to Magic Kingdom
and back. These are free floating boats with an upper and
lower level connected by two interior stairways.
Limited upper deck seating is available on the Irvine
and Fowler.
General Joe Potter only has limited bench seating available
on the lower deck; mostly standing room.
Wheelchair and Stroller accessible on lower deck. Each
Ferryboat has a maximum capacity of 600 persons.

Motor
Launch
 |
|
Motor
Launches provide transportation between the Magic Kingdom
and several resorts as follows:
2
Gold Flag motor launches run the Seven Seas Logoon from
the Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian to the Polynesian,
and back to the Magic Kingdom. 2 Blue Flag motor launches
run on Bay Lake and serve the Contemporary, Wilderness
Lodge, and Ft. Wilderness. Wheelchairs and Strollers
must be folded up and carried onboard. No ECVs can
be accomodated. Passengers are required to step down into
boat.

Cruiser
 |
|
Motor
Cruisers run from the Magic Kingdom on the Seven Seas
Lagoon through the water bridge channel to Bay Lake and
Fort Wilderness Campground and the Wilderness Lodge. The
cruiser pictured above offers an outdoor seating area at
the bow (front) of the boat as well as at the stern (rear).
The 3 motor cruisers are: Mermaid I (picture above), Bon
Voyage, and Castaways. ECVs can be accommodated on
motor cruisers unless the water levels are low.

| Friendships |

|
|
Friendships
run Crescent Lake between Epcot and Disney-MGM Studios,
with stops at the BoardWalk, Yacht & Beach Club and
the Swan and Dolphin Resorts.
They also run within Epcot; two Friendships run in two separate
routes. One boat runs between landings near Canada and Morocco,
while the other one runs between Mexico and Germany.
FriendShips
are Wheelchair and Stroller accessible when water
levels are normal. Changes in water levels will require
passengers to step up or down into boat, and, in these conditions
the loading ramps may not be usable (sign will be posted
on dock). Rough winds may also make boarding via wheelchair/stroller
impossible. Ramp located in rear of boat.

Port
Orleans and Disney Vacation Club Ferries
 |
|
These ferries provide service on three routes:
1.Between Port Orleans Riverside, Port Orleans French Quarter
and Downtown Disney Marketplace (yellow flag boats). Maximum
capacity on all these ferries is 34 passengers.
2. Between Old Key West, Saratoga Springs and Downtown Disney
Marketplace (blue flag boats).
3. Late afternoon and evening only, between Downtown Disney
Marketplace and Downtown Disney West Side (green flag boats).
These
boats may accommodate strollers. Wheelchairs usually have
to be folded.

Monorail
Disney
Monorails
 |
|
There are three monorail tracks at WDW. They all intersect
at the Transportation and Ticket Center, which means you can
connect to any one of them from there.
1. The
Express Monorail runs between the TTC and the Magic Kingdom
ONLY, without making any stops.
2. The Resort Monorail stops at all stations on the loop,
including the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom,
the Contemporary and the TTC.
3.The
Epcot Monorail runs between the TTC and Epcot ONLY.
Monorails
are both wheelchair and stroller acccessible. Look for wheelchair
signs for ramped areas. Cast Member will need to set up temporary
ramp.

Train
Walt
Disney World Railroad
 |
|
There are two trains operating at Walt Disney World. The Walt
Disney World Railroad circles the perimeter of the Magic Kingdom
and makes three stops: Main Street at the entrance of the
park, Frontierland next to Splash Mountain, and at Mickey's
Toontown Fair.
Personal
strollers must be folded prior to passing through the
station's turnstiles. No rental strollers allowed.
If you leave your rental stroller behind at the station, keep
your stroller nametag -- a replacement stroller may be available
at the other stops.
Wheelchairs/ECV
users will need to see Cast Member for loading.

The
Wildlife Express train (below) operates in Animal Kingdom,
shuttling guests to and from Rafiki's Planet Watch. It makes
no stops along the way. This train has seats that face outward,
so that guests travel sideways.

Trams
Parking
Lot Trams
 |
|
All four theme parks operate parking lot trams. These vehicles
pick you up at the end of your parking row and take you to
the park entrance. Magic Kingdom parking lot trams take you
to the TTC, where you will take a ferryboat or the monorail
over to the Magic Kingdom.
Strollers
and wheelchairs must be folded. If you must remain in your
wheelchair you will be unable to board the tram. Trams do
not stop in designated wheelchair parking areas. Limited wheelchairs
may be available in the wheelchair parking areas to help transport
you to park entrance.

Forms of Transportation
|
There are several modes of transportation available at Walt
Disney World that do not fit in the major headings.
|

There are golf carts available for rent for Fort Wilderness
guests to use to get around the resort in. These carts cannot
leave the Fort Wilderness Resort campgrounds. |

Taxi cabs and town cars that can take you almost anywhere on
property are available for hire. |
