General Spectator Admission

Spectator Admission gives you access to most amateur events at Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex as well as the Sports Experience. Tickets may be purchased at the Complex Box Office.

Adults (ages 10 and higher): $11.75
Children (ages 3 - 9): $9.00

The following is brief recap of upcoming major events to be held at
Disney's Wide World of Sports.

May 15 -- Applications for Disney's 2008 Soccer Showcase presented by Chelsea Football Club events will be accepted. The event has grown from one 80-team tournament to a series of three top level national events with more than 600 teams in age groups from U11-U18.

July 25 - August 13 -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers Training Camp -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will return this summer for their seventh year of training camp at Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex. Daily practices begin July 25 and continue until mid-August 2008 (Dates subject to change) Admission: Complimentary. Practice times change daily. General daily practices will be held in the morning and afternoon each day during camp. The training camp schedule will be subject to change without notice.

September 19-21 -- Athletes for a Cure Triathlon -- The inaugural Athletes for a Cure Triathlon will take place at WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort near Orlando, Florida on September 21, 2008, to raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. This international distance triathlon will feature a 1.5 K swim (.9 miles) a 40 K bike (24.8 miles) and a 10 K run. (6.2 miles). $25.00 of each athlete's entry fee will go directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. All athletes will also have the opportunity to win awards ranging from 2XU race uniforms to a 7 day Cruise by racing in the special Fundraising Division where the race goes to the biggest heart, not the fastest legs.

September 27 -- Expedition Everest™ Challenge -- Race through the dark, exotic terrain of Disney's Animal Kingdom on a thrilling 5K trek in the shadows of the Forbidden Mountain. There are plenty of clues, but only a few will escape the Yeti, known as the abominable snowman! The team needs to earn all of the stamps in their Expedition Passport to conquer the challenge. Then the real excitement begins as the teams celebrate their finish at an exclusive after-hours party at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

October 12 -- Disney's Race for the Taste 10K is your opportunity to experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival as you run through the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort. Race features: ceremonial toast and fireworks at the start line; unique race course through Disney's Hollywood Studios and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, complete with on-course Disney entertainment; Post-Race Picnic including Taste Stations from the Epcot International Food & Wine festival and fun for the whole family.

October 25 -- The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ 13K -- What lies beyond the fifth dimension, beyond the deepest, darkest corner of the imagination, can be found at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ 13K. Run into the next dimension, if you dare, on October 25 at Disney's Hollywood Studios™ . An 8.1 mile night race like no other you have experienced is awaiting your arrival, but beware, you may not return from your 13K quite the same.

November 27, 28 & 30 -- 2008 Old Spice Classic -- ESPN Regional Television will be bringing back the third edition of the Old Spice Classic to Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex on November 27, 28 and 30, 2008. The men's college basketball tournament will feature eight teams and 12 games scheduled to be played over Thanksgiving weekend. Michigan State, Gonzaga, Maryland, Oklahoma State, Siena, Tennessee, Georgetown and Wichita State will all compete in the 2008 tournament. For more information, visit www.oldspiceclassic.com

November 6-9 -- The Children's Miracle Network Classic presented by Wal-Mart returns to Disney’s Palm and Magnolia Golf Courses in the 38th consecutive year of PGA Tour play at WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort.

January 8-11, 2009 -- 2009 WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon Weekend is open for registration! Information on the full line-up of events is available now. Register today to reserve your place in the 2009 field!

NOTE: Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge has reached capacity for 2009 and registration is now closed.

March 6-8, 2009 -- Disney's Princess Half Marathon Weekend -- The Inaugural 2009 Disney’s Princess Half Marathon Weekend will bring women of all ages together to participate in a magical event designed just for them. The Disney Princesses are the inspiration for the weekend’s events and will focus on the attributes every princess possesses: commitment, courage, determination, fantasy, perseverance, and strength. Every woman is a princess, which princess are you?
