What is Dinosaur?
Located in DinoLand U.S.A., Dinosaur is a thrill ride attraction that takes you back 65 million years to the Cretaceous period in search of an Iguanodon dinosaur! The dark ride features a similar ride vehicle to Indiana Jones Adventure in Disneyland – the Enhanced Motion Vehicle features a wide range of motion that can make you feel like you are going up, down, over rocky terrain, etc.
In Dinosaur, you will be taken through a dark environment where you will encounter a variety of dinosaurs, with twists and turns as you try and escape from impending asteroids and a Carnotaurus.
Twists and Turning Stomachs
The Enhanced Motor Vehicle is a 12-person ride vehicle that can move up, down, side-to-side, and more. Because of this, the ride features quite a bit of movement, which can certainly aggravate those who suffer from motion sickness.
Tips for Riding with Motion Sickness
The best ways to attempt and avoid Motion Sickness on Dinosaur include:
- Using anti-nausea medications including Dramamine prior to entering the park, which can do the trick for those who suffer minor to moderate symptoms
- Closing one’s eyes and taking deep breaths
- Avoid a heavy meal
- Try acupressure bands such as SeaBands
