Disney Recipe: Learn How to Make Tony’s Famous Spaghetti and Meatballs

Grab some candles and fancy glasses for this elevated pasta dish from Lady and the Tramp. Here’s the full recipe for Tony’s Spaghetti and Meatballs!

Gather your Ingredients: 

  • 1 pound spaghetti

Meatballs:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • Onion powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Sauce:

  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees for your meatballs.

  • Bring a large pot of water to boil. Place spaghetti inside and cook until al dente (7-13 minutes).

  • For the meatballs: In a bowl, place your beef, egg, and bread crumbs. Add onion powder, salt, and pepper, then mix.

  • Shape the meat into balls and place them on a nonstick baking sheet. Bake until fully brown.

  • For the sauce: Over medium heat, add olive oil to a medium saucepan. Take chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until soft. Pour in crushed tomatoes and bring to simmer.

  • Take your drained pasta and toss with your sauce. Place the desired number of meatballs on top. Enjoy!
