PHOTOS: Disney World’s NEW Treat is NOT What it Looks Like

Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary is here which means that there is A LOT of new things to do across the parks and resorts!

And, at EPCOT, October 1st doesn’t just mean that there’s all sorts of new merchandise to check out, it also marks the debut of the newest attraction — Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure! We’ve brought you a look at the crowds in the new France Expansion area, but it turns out that you don’t have to head all the way back into World Showcase to taste a new treat in celebration of the grand opening!

We stopped into Sunshine Seasons located in The Land to try out some of the 50th-anniversary treats that arrived today and spotted something else that was new — the Remy “Cheese” Cake!

Now, this may look like a wedge of cheddar cheese at first glance, but it’s actually a regular cheesecake topped with some whipped cream and a white chocolate Remy medallion.

Now, this was a little bit different than your traditional cheesecake. It was layered with yellow cake (which gave it a slight lemon taste) instead of graham crackers and had a light and airy texture.
