Disney Experts Spill the Beans on Their FAVORITE Hiding Places in Magic Kingdom

The secret’s out! We can’t keep this one to ourselves anymore. You deserve a little peace and quiet — especially when you’re on vacation! But when you’re in the middle of Magic Kingdom on a busy day in Disney World, it might seem hard to escape the crowds.

That’s where we come in. We know a few Disney experts who know exactly where to go when the parks start to feel overwhelming. Wanna know where to HIDE in Magic Kingdom? We’ve got you covered! Just don’t go telling everyone in the park about our little secret, OK?

Alright, some places in Magic Kingdom tend to see a little less foot traffic than other parts of the park. These spots may be out of the way, but that’s part of the appeal for us introverts who need a break from the noise. So, where can you go to hide? Let’s start with an old favorite: Tom Sawyer Island.

Tom Sawyer Island is literally an island in the very back of Magic Kingdom. You have to take a boat just to get there! Since there aren’t any big rides or characters here, many people don’t make this spot a priority during their park day. But that’s good news for YOU, dear reader. It’s nice and quiet back there.

Up next, us Disney experts also love Tomorrowland Terrace. This spot used to be a quick-service restaurant, but now it’s just used for extra seating during the day. If you want to sit down and regroup (away from everyone else), this is a great spot to relax.

Now, we’re off to the Liberty Square Market! If you’re trying to hide from the sun AND the crowds, this small location is an underrated place to hang out.

You can find it right near the entrance to the Haunted Mansion attraction. Even though this spot is a little more out in the open than some of our other hiding spots, it’s still a nice relaxing spot to sit down.

Now, if you like learning about the quiet spots in the furthest corners of the park, you have to hear about Storybook Circus. There are a lot of nice little spots in this part of Magic Kingdom where you can escape the crowds.

There’s also a charging station here, so you can charge your phone while you take a little break!
