4 Disney World Bars That Are One and Done (And 7 You’ll Never Get Enough Of)

Looking for a refreshing drink on your Disney World vacation?

Oga’s Cantina

Whether you’re a die-hard cocktail enthusiast or just a casual sipper, Disney World offers quite a variety of themed bars and lounges to quench your thirst and enhance your trip experience. But with so many options available to you, how do you know which ones are must-dos and which are just “meh”? Don’t worry because we’ve got your back on this! Let’s go!

Here’s a list of four bars that might be a one-and-done experience, and seven gems you’ll want to visit again and again!

One-and-Done:

Oga’s Cantina: While the Star Wars theming in this Disney’s Hollywood Studios spot is undeniably cool, we’re still disappointed that there’s not a lively animatronic cantina band here! You need a reservation to visit this Disney World bar, and the quarters are TIGHT. Expect to be seated at a table with people you don’t know, or be standing elbow to elbow with others at the bar. There’s a time limit here, too — your reservation is for a strict 45 minutes. These factors make this bar less “chill” than many people would like — making it a one-and-done.

Outer Rim: This lounge in the Contemporary Hotel is … well, it’s a lounge in the Contemporary. This would be a perfectly serviceable Disney hotel watering hole, except … it is right next door to the very loud, very busy Chef Mickey’s. And that makes this feel less like an escape from the busy theme parks than being thrust right into them. This is NOT a relaxing spot.

Enchanted Rose: This Beauty and the Beast-inspired bar is inside the Grand Floridian.  Now we definitely recommend you check it out — the subtle theming here is gorgeous, and there are some unique drinks and light bites. It’s a unique atmosphere, but some of our team feel like once you’ve seen it, you’ve seen it. This one is divisive, though! A few members of the All Ears team think this is one of the best places to spend an evening in Disney World — it’s all a matter of opinion.

Space 220 Lounge: This lounge is attached to the innovative Space 220 restaurant in EPCOT. The space-faring views are incredible, don’t get us wrong, but the overall experience might be more about the novelty than a return trip for drinks.

7 You’ll Never Get Enough Of:

BaseLine Tap House: With its extensive craft beer selection and relaxed atmosphere, BaseLine Taphouse in Hollywood Studios is a paradise for beer lovers and feels like a hidden gem. The snack menu here is small but the choices are great — we especially recommend the Bavarian Pretzel.

Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto: The theming of this lounge in the Polyneisan Village hotel is top-notch. Also, the playful antics and delicious (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) drinks make Trader Sam’s an absolute must-do!

Three Bridges Bar & Grill: This hidden gem offers stunning views of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and you can’t get more of a laid-back vibe than this one. It’s the perfect place for unwinding after a park day. This is a great place for not only drinks, but a laid-back dinner.

River Roost Lounge at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside: There are so many reasons to love this lounge: the charming fireplace, talented musicians like Yehaa Bob, and the location, to name a few. If you’ve never visited, you can grab New Orleans-style hurricanes and snacks like Mardi Gras fritters here.

Banana Cabana at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort: This bar just might be the most paradise-like on the property. It can transport you to a Caribbean Island, especially when you consider their delicious tropical frozen drinks. And don’t sleep on dessert here — you can get one of the BEST desserts in Disney World here. Be sure to ask for the bread pudding!

Sanaa Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge: Sanaa is one of our favorite spots hands-down. You’ve got the savanna views, and delicious African-inspired small plates, and don’t get us started about the Bread Service or we’ll never stop. We love that even if we aren’t after a full meal, we can stop by the lounge for the bread service and to enjoy some of their South African wines.

  1. If bars are the purpose that makes or breaks a trip to Disney for someone, they may be heading to Disney for the wrong reason.
