Over the years, Disney has created some truly unforgettable characters and stories!

They’ve always been considered a pioneer in the space. I mean, who hasn’t been wrecked at some of the most heart-wrenching scenes? (I’m looking at you Inside Out!) Now, sometimes, their creative choices leave us scratching our heads. For example, it might be an understatement to say that the new art style of Mickey Mouse is divisive, and whether you love the new style or not, you can’t deny it’s brought some wild moments to the screen. Speaking of that, let’s talk about some of the most unhinged things we can’t believe Disney has shown us on TV. 

As we said, we’re talking about the new art style of Mickey Mouse that we’ve seen in the recent Mickey shorts and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway and how it hasn’t been everyone’s favorite. Well, whether you like it or not, you have to see these unhinged things!

Mouse Toes

First up, we know that Mickey is entitled to have moments where he can just sit back and kick off his shoes like the rest of us.

We’re not saying that Mickey can’t have toes, just that we could’ve left them firmly in our imaginations.

Mickey’s Many Faces

Of all the things we thought we’d ever see, Mickey with stubble and a butt chin was nowhere on our list.

Can someone explain what’s happening here with Mickey’s thumb? He’s definitely going through something that’s curling our toes too.

The fold, the jowls, and all the contortions to his face have us floored.

We know he’s a cartoon, but wow — it’s incredibly hard to keep up with the plethora of reactions he can emote.

As we said, he reactions can have us feeling a bit unhinged and unstable.

Now, this look has us absolutely terrified.

Mickey is having it quite rough, right?

Now, what about our boy Goofy? Well., he looks like…well…this.

Sure, there are people who like this newer version of Goofy, but we can’t help but feel that Goofy has seen some better days.

Zombie Mickey and Goofy

We know there’s been a trend of having zombies in shows for years now.

But it’s a trend that we would’ve been just fine not having made the jump into Disney. I mean, both Mickey and Goofy look like the stuff of nightmares!
