Summer is quickly approaching and if you’re planning a Disney World trip — you might need to do a little extra preparing.
You truly never know what you’re going to get in Disney World during the summer. Well, except for the heat — that’s pretty much a guarantee. And, folks heading to Disney World this week should be prepared for some pretty high temps!
We could be in for some rough weather this week at Disney World! News 6 reports that a stationary front could bring scattered storms — and heat — to the Orlando area in the coming days.
Tuesday brings the highest temperatures at 94 degrees with a heat index of 102, but it doesn’t look like Wednesday will be much better — though the temperature will drop to just over 90 degrees.
The highest chance of rain will be Wednesday at 60%, with a 50% chance on Monday and Tuesday. Thursday through Sunday bring 30% and 40% chances of rain to the area.
Spending this week at Disney World? Make sure you dress in lightweight, breathable fabrics — and toss a poncho or rain jacket in your suitcase, too. Pack plenty of sunscreen and consider bringing a hat or cooling towels with you as well. Drink plenty of water and take breaks if you need them!
