Only EPCOT Experts Eat at These 8 Restaurants

Choosing where you want to eat at EPCOT can make you feel unprepared — especially if you’ve not done your research in advance.

EPCOT

We already know that EPCOT is home to great new attractions, rocking festivals, and always seems to be lining up some fun seasonal snacks, but where should you go when you’re looking for a really good meal?

With so many great options to choose just where you want to eat in EPCOT, how do you REALLY know you’re making the right choice on where you choose to spend your money to eat? Luckily for you, we’re EXPERTS in eating around EPCOT restaurants and there are a few that have left a heavy enough impression on us that they always keep us coming back for more.

Hidden Mickey’s everywhere

Let’s take a look at which restaurants we recommend for you to add to your plans on your next EPCOT visit.

Garden Grill

This restaurant is one of the BEST table service restaurants for families. You’ll find it on the second floor of The Land pavilion in EPCOT’s World Nature area. Once you’re seated inside the restaurant you’ll get a neat experience beyond the food as your dining room (slowly) rotates giving you some pretty neat views and conversation tidbits when you see parts of the Living With the Land attraction below you. This restaurant is also a character dining meal, so you have a chance to say “howdy” to Farmer Mickey, Chip, Dale, and Pluto while you eat.

Garden Grill

Most of the menu here is pretty safe for “picky eaters” making it an ideal option for kids. This meal is served “family-style” and is made of a harvest-inspired menu with a salad, mashed potatoes, meat, and a berry shortcake for dessert.

Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

Arguably the best pizza in EPCOT, and dare we say all of  Disney World, you’ve just not lived until you’ve tried a slice (or whole pie) here. It’s true, the pizza here can get a bit pricey (depending on how many toppings you choose to add), but their larger sizes more than make up for it if you’re looking to split a whole pizza between a larger group.

Via Napoli

The next best part about this restaurant is the atmosphere. Stop and take a moment to really let it soak in the next time you find yourself walking the World Showcase and you’ll see what we mean. The dining room has insanely tall ceilings that can echo the sounds when it’s a crowded dining time and 3 massive wood ovens that are respectively named after the 3 active volcanos in Italy. The vibe you’ll find here is just what you’re looking for when you need a quick break from the hustle and bustle of the day.

We’re also going to point out that depending on the crowds, season, and time of day you’re visiting just neighboring the restaurant you can sometimes find Pizza al Taglio.

Via Napoli Walk-Up Window

This is more like a to-go window that you can walk up to and order from if you’re looking to take a quick bite with you as you walk or want to get somewhere without having to spend a lot of time sitting down for a full meal.

Le Cellier Steakhouse

We may not have tasted a better cut of steak than when we dined at Le Cellier. If you’re looking for a unique dining experience you can find it in the Canada pavilion around the World Showcase. Their dining room is expertly crafted to create a sense that you’re dining inside a wine cellar, with wooden tables, stone walls, dimmer lighting, and candle sconces. A few of our favorite options on the menu that don’t let us down include the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup, the Filet Mignon, and their signature Poutine.

Le Cellier

Sounds like a dream, right? Well… be prepared to pay a little bit more for your experience here. Le Cellier Steakhouse is a signature restaurant which means you’ll pay a bit more for your meal here for a premium experience, menu, and service. Because of this, it makes an excellent option for a celebratory meal, anniversary, or date night but might not be worth the pricer bill for some of the smaller kiddos that just won’t appreciate it quite like an adult would.

Yorkshire County Fish Shop

This may be an unpopular opinion, but we’re 100% backing this claim up! Yorkshire County Fish Shop serves a fairly limited menu — Fish and chips. We’re serious, that’s it!

Yorkshire County Fish Shop

Ok, you caught us. Sometimes, they’re known to sneak in the occasional limited-time treat or snack, and there is also a drinks menu here too. But most people really stop by here solely for those Fish and chips. Their fish is battered and fried and is served wrapped in a blanket of crisp, golden, batter and when paired with the thicker-cut chips, it’s perfection.

Fish & Chips

We’ve also chosen this spot because you can really get a decent bang for your buck here. You really do get served a big portion for what you’ve paid, so it makes a solid choice as a quick meal for a single person or could considerably do for a shareable snack between two people. You’ll need to be flexible on the seating arrangement here as everything is outdoors between the nearby lakeside tables with umbrellas, which could make it a little tricky to find an available spot on super crowded days.

Sunshine Seasons

This next selection seems to have something for someone with any kind of taste palate. This spot serves everything for even the pickiest eaters like pizza rolls and grilled chicken to more adventurous eats like Asian vegetable noodle salad and Mongolian beef. This is also a really friendly spot to dine if you’re looking for decent plant-based food options as well.

Sunshine Seasons

While it’s not award-winning quality food, it’s delicious and affordable. It’s also located indoors just inside the lower level of The Land which makes it a solid dining choice for any day — rain, shine, hot, or cold.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

Barbecue in Disney World doesn’t get much more authentic than what you’ll find at Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the American Adventure of World Showcase. This restaurant serves American-style BBQ platters inspired by various regions of the country with several tempered sauces to mix to your own desire. Their meat selection can options like  Memphis Dry-Rub Pork Ribs, a Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich, and Kansas City Half-Smoked Chicken.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

This restaurant boasts a good amount of indoor AND outdoor seating, and if you’re looking closely enough you’ll find a few nods to Sam Eagle of the Muppets. There’s also a decent drinks window just outside of the restaurant if you’re looking for a few stronger beverage options to go with that hearty meal.

Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie

This might be everyone’s “go-to” when all else fails… or you’re looking for consistent and affordable eats.

Les Halles

This counter-service restaurant found in the back of the France pavilion is home to some of the tastiest sandwiches, soups, salads, pastries, and sweet macarons you’ll find in all of Disney World.

Line to order at Les Halles

If you’re looking to grab a few selections here though, you’ll do best to plan to take it to go. There’s not a ton of seating just adjacent to the counters where the food is served but this is certainly not a place to overlook on your next visit. We recommend getting a variety of snacks and treats and sharing them with your group!

Crêpes À Emporter by La Crêperie de Paris

This walk-up window also located in France has quickly become a fan favorite. The menu is pretty straightforward as the name says it all — there’s basically a large selection of crepes to choose from here.

Le Creperie

But you’ll need something to wash them down, so you’re not all out of luck here. In addition to the crepes, this quick-service restaurant also serves a selection of hard ciders, sparkling drinks, and wines. This restaurant’s biggest challenge is its extremely limited seating. Aside from just a handful of benches that are pretty much nearby solely because of their proximity to the window, that’s all you have — so it’s not uncommon to see people walking around eating their crepes or taking them elsewhere to find a table to sit and eat but don’t let that one hiccup deter you from trying them out… they’re delicious!
