Introduction

Anyone who has visited New York City or just dreamed of it will love this area. You'll see replicas of The Palace Theater, NY Library and other famous Big Apple landmarks. New York is the home to one of the Studios' most popular attractions, Revenge of the Mummy. If you are lucky and you time your vacation visit right, you may even get to experience the Delancey Street Italian Festival, Mardi Gras, or the Macy's Holiday Parade.

Attractions and Entertainment

Twister... Ride It Out -- This special effects theater attraction is based on the mega-hit movie. After seeing the intro film featuring Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton discussing the danger of tornadoes, you will be taken inside Aunt Meg's tornado-damaged home as part of the pre-show. Next you'll enter the main theater, where you will be in a recreation of the drive-in theater from the movie. Things start out calmly, but change quickly as the tornado approaches. And that's when the fun begins. Universal Express Attraction.

The Blues Brothers -- This is a not to be missed street show that takes place outside of Finnegan's Irish Bar & Grill on the famous Delancey Street. Party with Jake and Elwood and friends. Songs will vary from show to show.

Delancey Street Preview Center -- Qualifying Universal Studios visitors get a chance to preview and rate new television shows under consideration by the networks. Allow at least 30 minutes if you decide to participate. Open seasonally.

Revenge of the Mummy - The Ride -- Billed as a psychological thrill ride. Your quest is to stop the Mummy's Curse on this indoor roller coaster. You will face fireballs, scarab beetles and warrior mummies. The queue area has some interesting interactive items, but the ride is not nearly as scary as you would think. Single rider line available. Universal Express Attraction.

Places to Eat

Finnegan's Bar & Grill - Enjoy this full-service restaurant for lunch or dinner. Great Irish Food in both the dining room and bar area. Happy Hour and entertainment in the lounge daily. 

Louie's Italian Restaurant - Pasta, pizza and salads. And as a bonus, there is a Starbucks inside Louie's. At the other end of Louie's there is stand that offers Italian Ice and Gelato. Try the coconut, it is amazing.

Aftermath -- Interesting collection of Twister souvenirs and other country collectibles. 

Sahara Traders -- Revenge of the Mummy apparel and souvenirs as well as recreated Egyptian artifacts. Attraction photo pick-up.

Delancey Street Psychic Shop -- Readings, henna tattoos, incenses and jewelry.
