 Introduction

Step into the pages of the Marvel comics as our long-time favorite heroes and villains come to life. The building facades with over-sized Marvel characters and simple signs like "Arcade" or "Diner" draw you into this fantasy city. The battle of good versus evil is all around you as our Super Heroes battle to win over the city. As you head down Stanley Boulevard, named for Marvel's co-creator Stan Lee, you may catch the Marvel Character parade or head into The Spider-Man Shop for a photo with the superhero. Times will vary so check your guide map. While Marvel Super Hero Island is full of amazing attractions, not much here is geared toward the park's youngest guests.

Attractions and Entertainment

Doctor Doom's Fearfall --Dr. Doom needs your fear! Strap yourself in as you rocket straight up 150 feet or more. What a view! Remember, what goes up has to come down. Gravity class #101. Located just off of Stanley Blvd on Yancy Street also known as Doom Alley. This ride will be featured in an upcoming NBC Fear Factor TV show.  Universal Express Pass available.

Storm Force Accelatron -- You help X-Men's superhero Storm summon the forces of nature as your spinning ride vehicle helps power the generator in her battle against the evil Magneto. Picture the teacups on high octane fuel. Located behind Cafe 4. Universal Express Pass Available.

The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man -- This is an unique high-tech 3-D simulator thrill ride that is not to be missed.  With 360 degree spins and a 400 foot drop, you will be helping Spider-Man battle the evil villains to save the Statue of Liberty and New York City. Guests that are sensitive to motion sickness may want to think twice about this attraction. Universal Express Pass available.

Incredible Hulk Coaster -- Dr. Bruce Banner's (a.k.a. The Hulk) gamma-ray accelerator launches you up the 150-foot climb at speeds of 0-40 in two seconds to begin your ride on this signature IOA coaster with seven inversions. 

Kingpin's Arcade -- Video games and more. If you ride Dr. Doom's Fearfall, you will exit through the arcade.

Places to Eat

Cafe 4 - Featuring a variety of Pizza, Pasta and Chicken. Due to the decor and design of this restaurant, it is reminiscent of an old cafeteria shop and can be very loud during busy times.

Captain America Diner - All American Burgers and Super Fries. Enjoy lunch or dinner inside or outside. 

Chill Ice Cream - Cones, Cups and Floats

Fruit - The name says it all. Fresh fruits and beverages.

Cotton Candy - Cotton candy, pretzels and snacks.

Spider-Man Shop - Toys, apparel, souvenirs, sun and camera items. Character photo area located in the back of the shop.

The Marvel Alterniverse Store - Marvel gifts and souvenirs. You will exit thru this shop after riding The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man.

Comic Book Shop - Marvel comics and books.

Oakley - Designer sunglasses.

Amazing Pictures - Have your photo inserted in any magazine cover or with your favorite characters.
