Our
Magical Moment happened at Le Cellier at Epcot. Our table
was decorated with paper maple leaves. Our server told us that
our table was the "Table of the Day." We each received
a tag that said "Honorary Canadian" with the picture
of the Canadian flag on the tag. We wore the tags proudly during
our meal. At the end of our meal we received a Magical Moment
certificate signed by several of the cast members and designating
our Magical Moment as "Table of the Day." We felt really
fortunate to have these opportunities. As the saying goes -- they
were "priceless" moments at Disney! Michelle Adam

I was very privileged to go to Disney World with a friend for
spring break. It was our last day and the Pirates of the Caribbean
ride had a very long line. A Disney cast member came over and
asked what we were doing. We said "thinking." He said,
"Thinking about being in a parade?" I flipped out. I
always wanted to work in Disney and I felt as if I was about to.
He led us to Main Street and we stood with a group of people who
had also been selected. It warmed my heart to see mothers and
grandmothers crying, telling how much this meant to them and their
children. That was what Disney is really about, right? Bringing
happiness to everyone. Well once everyone came we got to speak
with the cast member. Finally they broke us up into groups (I
was in the pom-pom group with Daisy Duck) and we paraded down
Main Street. It was one of the most magical moments of my life
and I will never forget it. Thank you Disney! You made a dream
come true!

We
were in the store in France on St. Patrick's Day. One of the
employees asked my girls if they would like to be an artist. So
she placed them in front of a double-sided easel, and let them
draw away. They thought it was pretty cool and couldn't wait to
give her one of their drawings, which she displayed on the wall
behind her register.

We
were awaiting to be "let in" to the area where Kilimanjaro
Safari is and as we all stood there behind the rope a Cast
Member asked if anyone had a party of four, so I immediately said,
"We do!" He leads us to the front of the pack and said
we were going to be the First Family, and we were going to open
this area of the park. My children were so excited. We held the
rope and watched Minnie and Gang sing and dance on their jungle
jeep. Then, we started walking and the crowd followed. We were
then taken on the safari ride and got to choose where we wanted
to sit in the jeep. As we departed the safari, we were still so
excited about being the first family... but it got better as we
were greeted by the Dream Squad and they handed out Dream FastPasses
to ride the major attractions. My children, Tyler and Lindsey,
were beyond excited!

We
woke up one morning and decided to rent a boat at the Grand Floridian
Marina. Upon our return to the dock we were told that the
rental was given free of charge. We had been picked to be "Captains
of the Day" and then were handed a certificate to our delight!

My
family (Eric, Amy, Rhys and Maryn Messner) was chosen as the Honorary
Grand Marshal Family for the Disneyland Parade of Dreams in Anaheim,
CA.
We
were personally escorted by Disney characters (Pooh, Eeyore and
Tigger among a few others) and treated to a behind-the-scenes
look at the parade prior to boarding the Disneyland fire truck
at "it's a small world. We were then driven down the
parade route -- waving to the crowd and ringing the fire truck
bell as they winded our way through Main Street, U.S.A, finishing
our ride by circling around Town Square. At the end, we were presented
with a large bouquet of Mickey Mouse balloons and were led to
the top of Town Square to enjoy the rest of the parade from our
special seating area.
It
was such an unexpected surprise -- it still feels surreal when
I think about it. We got to keep the panels with our names on
them, and plan to have them framed (one for our home, one for
my husband's office). It was an honor to be a part of it. Amy

We
ran over to the Studios so my husband could squeeze in a ride
on the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. While we waited, I ordered
her an ice cream. When I went to pay, they told me to keep my
money, and that this was a freebie for the "Year of a Million
Dreams." The scoop looked like Mickey, and I paid attention,
the other ice cream shoppers all got "normal" scoops!
It was little, but it made my daughter's day! April Woodward
