SUPER SOAP WEEKEND 2008!

November 15 and 16, 2008

ABC Super Soap Weekend presented by Colgate® Total®: One of the largest annual soap opera fan events held anywhere in the world, ABC Super Soap Weekend presented by Colgate® Total®, returns to Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park Nov. 15-16. Stars from the ABC Daytime dramas "All My Children," "One Life to Live" and "General Hospital" step off the television screens and into the theme park in meet-and-greet autograph and photo sessions, celebrity motorcades, star conversations, interactive games and more.

Admission to the 13th edition of the soap fanfest is included in regular admission to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Fans will be able to visit disneyworld.com/SuperSoapWeekend for additional information.

INTRODUCTION

One weekend each fall, stars from the ABC soap operas make appearances at the Disney's Hollywood Studios. Park Guests are treated to a spectacular interactive weekend with their favorite actors and actresses from the ABC Daytime dramas All My Children, One Life to Live, and General Hospital.

2007 DETAILS

Actress Susan Lucci headlines a star-studded lineup of more than 30 actors and actresses from the ABC Daytime dramas November 10-11, 2007, at the 12th annual ABC Super Soap Weekend at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Sherri Shepherd, co-host of The View, also will be on hand for the weekend. Other first-time attendees are Melissa Claire Egan (All My Children), Brandon Buddy, Tika Sumpter (One Life to Live), Bradford Anderson, Josh Duhon and Sonya Eddy (General Hospital) join the star-studded line up for the 12th annual ABC Super Soap Weekend. Also new to this year's event, will be the addition of stars from SOAPnet's original primetime drama, General Hospital: Night Shift. Finally, the 2008 Hot Guys Calendar will be available for purchase for the very first time at ABC Super Soap Weekend. Buy your copy at the SOAP CENTRAL store to get autographed during this year's ABC Super Soap Weekend Event!

The actors hold regular autograph sessions at stations throughout the park. Many of the stations are along New York Street and around Echo Lake.

ABC Super Soap Weekend is the largest soap fan event held anywhere in the country. Festivities include autograph sessions, motorcades, interviews and talk shows, game shows, musical performances, and the chance to purchase one-of-a-kind memorabilia from the shows. The Colgate Total Street Jam will close the event each day with live musical performances by some favorite Daytime stars.

Enjoy an exclusive look at show clips and sneak previews of upcoming episodes and find out more about your favorite actors. Ask the stars what you've always wanted to know! Hosted by Bob Guiney.

SOAPNET'S "I WANNA BE A SOAP STAR"
Join in the fun of SOAPnet's I Wanna Be A Soap Star, where selected contestants will compete for their showbiz break to perform in an on-stage scene with one of ABC's hottest hunks. Hosted by Cameron Mathison. To add to the fun this year, make sure you log on to soapnet.com after the weekend is over to vote for your favorite finalist, and you could have a chance to win a trip for two to the 2008 Super Soap Weekend Event at Walt Disney World. CELEBRITY MOTORCADES AND STAR CONVERSATIONS
See all the daytime glamour of the ABC soap stars in "Hollywood style" celebrity motorcades all day long. Each motorcade travels up Hollywood Boulevard to the Sorcerer's Hat stage and is followed by a conversation with the stars on stage.

COLGATE-TOTAL TRIPLE PLAY GAME SHOW
Join the fun as an actor from each of your favorite soaps teams up with two of their fans selected from the audience to play a fast paced, three-round game show. Who will come out on top, ALL MY CHILDREN, ONE LIFE TO LIVE or GENERAL HOSPITAL? You help decide as the entire audience plays along. Hosted by John-Paul Lavoisier and presented in the Theater of the Stars.

COLGATE® TOTAL® STREET JAM
Party each evening following the Grand Motorcade at the Colgate® Total® Street Jam - an incredible star-filled concert! Hosted this year by The View's Sherri Shepherd on Saturday night and by General Hospital's Kelly Monaco and Bob Guiney on Sunday night. ABC's talented performers will include Bobbie Eakes, Kathy Brier, Kassie DePaiva, Kristen Anderson, Tika Sumpter, Sonya Eddy, Melissa Claire Egan and Brandon Buddy.

TOURING TIPS

Crowds for this event are huge -- arrive early to see your favorite celebrities.

There is no additional ticket necessary for the Super Soap Weekend events -- admission is included in regular theme park admission.

Try to obtain a schedule of events before you visit the theme park, so that you can plan your day. Autograph sessions, talk shows and other activities are staggered throughout the day, and the stars rotate through the different events.

Disney's FastPass, used in the theme parks to reduce wait times for attractions, has been used the last few years for "On Location" Autograph Sessions. It will work like this:

FastPass for Super Soap Weekend will work much as regular FastPass works. Visit our FastPass page for details. Note that a FastPass ticket will be required for each autograph. There is no limit to the number of FastPass Tickets a person can get, but there is a capacity limit for each autograph session. However, once all the FastPass tickets are distributed for a particular actor, a limited number of Standby Tickets will be made available. Standby Tickets do not guarantee an autograph, though -- standby ticket holders will be taken if there is time remaining in a session after all FastPass ticket holders have received their autographs.

--ALL MY CHILDREN tickets will be distributed at Lights Motor Action Extreme Stunt Show.
--ONE LIFE TO LIVE tickets will be distributed at Star Tours.
--GENERAL HOSPITAL tickets will be distributed at Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular.

Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. FastPasses will begin to be distributed when the park opens and are only good for Autograph Sessions that same day.

Wheelchair/ECV Users can take advantage of a special viewing area at the main (Sorcerer's Hat) stage. No standing is allowed in this area -- all party members must remain seated in the chairs located in this area. Due to capacity, party sizes are limited in this area to three guests. (The guest traveling in a wheelchair, plus two members of their party.)

KIDS AND CHARACTERS

Super Soap Weekend doesn't usually interfere with the scheduled character meet and greet opportunities at the Disney's Hollywood Studios, but some locations may be closed due to Super Soap events. Check your daily Times Guide for details.
