Magical Moments happen when you least expect them!
I spent a few hours wandering around the Disney's Hollywood Studios yesterday. Work is continuing on Toy Story Mania and there is a new, partially covered overhead sign near One Man's Dream that says Pixar Studios. Well, it's new to me. I understand that the Castmember Previews for Toy Story Mania originally scheduled for this weekend have been postponed till further notice. The Imagineers are continuing to work on enhancing the new attraction. No word if this will affect the Passholder preview dates.

I was hoping to see some noticeable updates for the former ABC Theater and/or the former location that housed the Hunchback Show. Both are still under construction but the walls around the former ABC Theater have been extended toward the Sorcerer's Hat perhaps to add queue lines for the upcoming American Idol Show.
The new backdrop for the "Cars" Meet and Greet is finally up. Located across from the Backlot Tour, it is a temporary spot. When Toy Story Mania opens, I have been told that Lightning McQueen and Mator will have a permanent home in the space where guests have been meeting with Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the Green Army Men, at Al's Toy Barn. We will have to wait and see if that happens.

Back to my magical moment. I am lucky enough to spend more time than most in the theme parks. I take hundreds of pictures a month and most of the time my goal is for photos without people in them. That is not always an easy goal to accomplish when you live in the World's Playground.
Well, to make a long story short, I wandered into The Magic of Disney Animation to see if there were any new movie posters or updates for the character meet and greets now that Remy and Emile are gone.
I felt like I hit the mother lode when I saw Sorcerer Mickey and there was not a single person in line. I had Mickey all to myself. WOW!!! Mickey posed for me while I took about 10 or so pictures of him.
Me and Mickey now that's a Magical Moment. Enjoy the photos.

Here's are the posters of upcoming movies for 2008 and 2009. Wall-E and Bolt are scheduled for release in 2008 and Up will be released in 2009.
